I love Anna so much. I first saw her in Twilight and didn't think much of her because she was just a side character in the movie. I had no idea what a huge talent she was until years later when Pitch Perfect and the Cups video came out. And then I saw her on stage singing with Kristin Chenoweth and matching her note for note. I nearly lost my mind seeing that.

As a life long Mainer I can confirm that Allens coffee brandy and milk is in fact the state cocktail here in Maine. Whole milk, none of this 2% crap. One quart of milk per fifth of Allens. On ice in a 20oz. plastic tumbler. Stirred, not shaken.

@@jamessandman3708 It should, now that I read your comment, I realize it should be like the Kahlua of brandy. But.....just search Allens Coffee Brandy and look at the bottle. It's delicious, but I wouldn't say it's as smooth as Kahlua or Baileys. I bet higher end brands of coffee brandy would be. But not the stuff Anna Kendrick is talking about.

@@Bridgejonesrox I say it as a Chef of many years. Ultimately it is a coffee flavored liquor be it a distilled coffee or coffee brandy with a milk or cream product. I do not mean to discredit either one as they both have their place. I merely tried to give people a flavor association as I would compare a tarte tatin or apple pie to an apple turnover. 🍎🍎

Thank you, Anna, for your performance in Alice, Darling. The plot is such a critical issue. As a woman who was in a psychologically abusive relationship for several decades, I am thrilled you've brought the truth to the forefront. My sincere hope is that through watching Alice Darling, many women will be able to understand how abuse looks when there are no overt signs. Covert abuse is insidious, toxic and very dangerous.

Had the pleasure of talking with Anna Kendrick a couple weeks ago at a Q&A screening for "Alice, Darling". Incredibly charming, fun and intelligent 👌. As a fan of her work (Pitch Perfect, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, etc.), an amazing experience.

Allens Coffee Brandy is indeed the Maine state drink. It's amazing that it doesnt seem to exist anywhere outside of Northern New England. Anyone who hasn't tried it really needs to find some. It's kind of like Kahlua.

She gives such a great interview. And something that I really appreciate about Kimmel is that he has the confidence to follow a conversation where it goes rather than needing to stay rigidly to the pre-interview. Also, if she was filming in Ontario, I think indecent exposure is not much of a concern because it's legal for women to be topless there. I live in BC, so not 100% sure. There was a campaign for this there several years back (from feminists, not from the movie industry or anything like that).
