Thanks for uploading this excellent series from A&E's early days. I watched it faithfully when it first aired and wondered why it never appeared on DVD or elsewhere. Great plots, sturdy, complex characters, good direction, and fine actors; what's not to like about Anna Lee? Thanks again for bringing it back for others to enjoy!

It appeared now because it was STOLEN from its producer. Please read my comment.
@WildWoodsGirl654 ай бұрын
It's originally from British network ITV, so looking at A&E sources wouldn't find it. A&E just replayed it in the US & had since moved away from mysteries. It's from 1993-4.

Sometimes interlibrary loan is the best way to find less recent DVDs bc a local librarian can request it from any library in the country & have it sent to them for you to check out, usually for 1-2 weeks depending on the library that sent it for loan. My local library thins out the shelves & sells their books & DVDs 🙄 so I request things this way bc some areas have not devalued their libraries & don't get rid of materials. Better funding I guess?

Cannot thank you enough for uploading these Anna Lee episodes! Have been looking for this series for 20 years ever since A&E Network in America aired the episode Requiem which was so damn good, very unusual in a totally great way. So many talented people in that episode , especially the girl who sang, the actor that played her uncle and the American actor/ comedian whose name I just can't remember unfortunately but who worked in England a lot as well as Jesse Birdsall as Anna's prime suspect. Amazing, thank you again Daisy Snow!

@@wordwarrior2350lol they're not profiting from sharing this & it's available free from ITV anyway. If KZfaq is showing you ads, Google is making the profits, not this person. This is a 30 year old series.

That was an absolutely accurate assessment, which he earned. And the man thinks he's acting completely normal. In real life & in fiction those guys don't listen but they ought to at least know what their behavior is called and that others do see through it & won't be intimidated. Whatever they're up to they might not take as far if they're aware people are paying attention (the other lady heard & saw what he said and that response.) Of course it isn't always safe to call someone out. But callous behavior isn't just rude, it's suspicious. A lack of empathy is a large red flag. It might help keep a vulnerable person safe if they realize even strangers care about someone's well-being. With NO witnesses, alone, it wouldn't be wise to show any protest with a guy like that, though. Not everyone is afraid of consequences of they think no one will know and he did state he's more important than any girl. We have to be careful, but we need to be careful for & of each other as well. I love people like her. There aren't enough around. Gumption is essential though.
