Chloe’s mom, was a good mom and helped Kenzie, I will never EVER forget the moment Chloe sat down and told Kenzie she didn’t have to be Maddie. One of the reasons why I think Chloe’s mom was one of the best moms.

It’s hard for me to believe these moms allowed dinner for their kids to be held up by producers. I know they had contracts, but there is no contract in the world that would stop me from feeding my kid or locking them in rooms for hours on end. It’s too bad Sia didn’t help any of the other kids

They were in it all together, the mom's, Abby, the viewers and the producers. The kids had no control over the situation and are blameless. Watching the girls dance was my favorite part of the show. They were a delight to watch.

Wait. Melissa had her girls with Abby for YEARS. She also defended Abby to no end. Personally I would have no idea who her daughters are if it wasn't for Dance Mom's. Melissa acting like she didn't know what a reality show was is laughable. She knew what it was and she definitely wouldn't of signed a contract for multiple years without a lawyer. I love how these Mother's have the audacity to paint Abby as villain, yet they chose to keep their children with her for multiple years. It's their responsibility to protect their children. If Abby is the monster they say she was they are at fault, not Abby Miller.

Actually not to spread hate I’m just saying Melissa started feeling bad for Kenzie even though I do agree that Melissa defended Abby she wanted the best for her girls, but that is still not acceptable but a little bit towards the end of the show she quit dancing because of how mean she was to Kenzie and started to notice how Maddie was treated better than she treated Kenzie both of the girls trauma- at that time she was divorced It’s true what you’re saying that Melissa defended Abby but it’s safe to say that she wasn’t the worst dance mom at the group! (no hate) ❤ even though it is pretty laughable how she said she didn’t know what a reality show was she’s an adult. She should know it before you get your kid into a show.

I once had a band director that acted just like Abby (maybe a little bit better) he made me into a perfectionist which led me to think that I was never good enough and I will never be which then later brought me into depression and no self confidence what's so ever. He wanted us to practice every day of the week and stay in school until 9 or 10pm and still go back home and practice. It was true hell. We were in middle school and mostly none of us wanted to be a music major in the future. He ruined band for me it felt like a job rather than an elective that you do for fun or like. He made us practice on weekends early in the morning and if you didn't show up you wouldn't go to the end of the year trip or you'd get kicked out or yelled at in front of everyone. As I went to high school it was so much better the band director was strict but he loved us and all the hardwork we put in our shows. I have healed now and I might still be self conscious but at least I'm not wanting to km$ just bc I have band the next day.

the show could’ve actually been a really great one if the producers did not manipulate it so much and if abby wasn’t such an abuser and fucked up person. The real fans loved the good moments between the moms, the kids, and even with abby, like when the moms went to the bar or to the vegas show, etc. The audience wanted more of that, not the manipulative and traumatizing arguments. We wanted to see how hard it is to be a dance mom, how hard the girls train, their individual personalities and aspirations, a glimpse into their lives, how competitive the industry is, but also the team bonding moments and good moments. Now its just child abuse, traumatizing fights, drama, drama, drama, and it was no longer about dance, it was about producers manipulating the show, the people, and literal children. It could’ve been a really interesting show, provide a perspective to non dancers, and some reassurance to competitive dancers, but no…once again a reality show is not a reality show

It took her two years for Melissa to get them out, she had helped from Sia. She had seen Kelly and Christi having to fight the lawyers. Melissa had the complication of Kenzie’s music and Abby setting herself up as her manager. Abby is gaslighter and narcissist, Melissa and Maddie were used and abused by Abby. I think Abby took advantage of Melissa when her marriage broke down, and Melissa was left broke and struggling. Abby must have seemed like a kind, helper but she took control of Maddie.

And what blame do the parents have. If they weren't fighting over whose daughter should get the most attention. They would have known if the toxic environment wasnt good for they're children. The producers told them what to say. She made some of them stars. Thats what the mothers and daughter wanted. Fame ! They were manipulated by the producers to cause drama. Abby was told what to say too. Get counseling' get a life and move on. How long are they going to drag this out ? You could have walked anytime. Money talks contracts are broken. 🙄🙄😕🙄😕

😂 Chloe and her mom cane back to the show..... Credibility out the door. These mothers knew and didn't care. I wonder if they would choose not to do the show if they had a choice. Abby said terrible things no excuses for her, but none of them would have what they have without it. Would they give it up? Would maddie give up sia, the grammys, dwts? Would they all give up the money? When the mothers can say, the fights were staged, so was the drama real or not? And if it wasn't real how was it toxic? Did none of the mothers say to the kids " we're just acting" How do we give the mothers a free pass for being manipulated by production. Wasn't abby manipulated as well? Or that excuse doesn't hold up for her? I'm not saying these children shouldn't be allowed to say how they feel but...... Idk it's just very weird.

I danced when I was younger & I wasn't as good as some of the girls. I had friends and really enjoyed dancing. I loved the comorodty & the beautiful costumes and just had fun. It's extremely sad that they were all robbed of that growing up. I truly believe they were all exploited even the moms. I'm so glad their all doing well now and are now able to enjoy life. As a mom myself that's all we real l y want for our kids.
