It really sucks because some of these celebrities don’t know how to follow a theme, they think creativity is all it’s about but NO it’s about being creative while staying on theme.

Kylie’s dress is actually really hear touching. Her dress was designed by a really close friend who safely passed so even though it didn’t quite fit the theme it really meant something to her.

The reporter slayed so hard she made most of the celebrities forget the theme.

The fact that this was one of the easiest themes ever and basically no one followed is just sad.

Most of those celebrities actually have no control over what they’re wearing to the Met, each tables are sponsored by big brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada, etc.. the brands would invite celebrities to sit at their table and because those brands are the ones paying for the tables, those celebrities are obligated to wear that brand and the brand have control over what they wear. Sometimes the brand would create custom looks for celebrities to fit the theme or they might offer some archival looks for them but sometimes the brands don’t wanna do that and just want the celebrities to show off the brand’s newest runway collection. So if u hate an outfit, don’t blame the celebrity. Blame the brand.
