Honestly, I feel like we should just leave influencers alone when they model, create products/brands, or release songs, but letting them go to the Met Gala was a bit overboard. sorry, some of the outfits were actually good… i thought madison beers outfit was very sophisticated and one of a kind while also trying to depict a lot of marilyn monroes outfits, which it was heavily influenced by. i thought dixies was a simple 1920s themed cutesy little outfit. i definitely thought she could’ve represented herself better especially for her first met but i thought she was cute, especially because she wanted a little “100 years ago” type thing, and i LOVED the statement she made with the headpiece, i thought it looked great and she was very on theme. emma chamberlain looked amazing and i think her outfit really presented her well, it was very elegant and classy while also being able to show her figure. not really as on point with the theme but honestly i’d let it slide cause she looked so pretty. addison raes outfit was okay, i don’t think it flattered her well with the ruffles, it made her look not how she was intending, and i think she should’ve gone in a different direction and it was quite basic, but i still liked the dress and her and the colour was good with the theme and red flatters her well. i can understand the influence behind her dress but i think the designer could’ve definitely made it better, no offence intended. anna critiqued the outfits a lot but i think they need to be discussed more. tell me in replies who else i should talk about, i’ll edit my comment. i’m also happy to talk about the after party outfits ! - a fashion student :)
