Bramble Berry

Күн бұрын

Learn how to make super sparkly, fruity, peachy soap! The recipe is inspired by Peach Prosecco Fragrance Oil. With notes of peach nectar, orange, prosecco, and mango, it's the perfect complement to the peachy color of this soap.
Get the full recipe and ingredients: bberry.studio/...
Because it features several different techniques including layers, swirls, and embeds, this is a project for an advanced soap maker.
Super sparkly, fruity, and colorful, these soaps are a great party favor. They would also be a real show-stopper at your next craft fair! Both the Gold Iridescent EcoGlitter and Gold Bursting Beads are biodegradable, so you can feel good about the beautiful sparkle on top of these bars.
We formulated this recipe with a 10% water discount to help reduce the chance of glycerin rivers. They're more likely in this project because it contains a large amount of titanium dioxide. To be extra careful, you may want to place this soap in the fridge or freezer for several hours if you live in a very hot climate.
Learn more about glycerin rivers here:

Hey there! Are you guys going to be making this into a kit? I know it’s not a beginner recipe but I think even a simplified version would make a fantastic kit. :)

Hi Anne Marie..I have a question for you? The word Prosecco did you have to get permission to use this word since the word is trademarked? I made a different version of this soap and listed it on eBay listing the ingredients as required by eBay and I listed the fragrance as a Bramble Berry Fragrance Peach Prosecco and and my soap was taken off eBay because of the word Prosecco they said I infringed on the copyright of the word Prosecco. So I listed your fragrance as a Peach Blend using White Grape instead of Prosecco. Just curious. I made little bundt cakes and people loved them.

I love all your videos. Please tell what 10% water discount means. Thanks
@bramble-berry
@bramble-berry 3 жыл бұрын
A water discount is using less water in your recipe! Less water/liquid in the soap makes it harden more quickly. That means you can unmold it earlier and it takes less time to cure - your bars may be ready in 3-4 weeks instead of the usual 4-6. We recommend you read this article to learn more: www.brambleberry.com/articles/how-to/art0077-water-discounting-cold-process-soap.html

@bramble-berry
@bramble-berry 3 жыл бұрын
We’ve had the best and most consistent results with 99% isopropyl alcohol. We’ve found it’s the best percentage for preventing soda ash. 96% isopropyl alcohol should work, but may not prevent soda as well as 99%.
