Hey, what a coincidence! I had made a decision I need a vacuum dealer after eating year old trout which had been frozen using this! Absoulutely delicious. Like they had just been caught! I'm retired and live alone but to stay above board I watch sales and shop Sam's club intelligently and buy large portions and repackage and freeze. The negative I hadnt thought of is frozen meat can become old tasting and of course freezer burnt. This is my answer. Thank you. I will purchase in a month from now. Oh it was incredible! My mother-in-law always has filet on Christmas Eve, but we have started our own Christmas Eve traditions with our kids. So she freezes our steaks for us. This was such a treat for a weeknight dinner!

Hi Anne, great video! I just have one question: is there a way to create a secondary seal with this sealer? Sometimes one wants to double seal and that’s easy to do with Foodsaver machines but I’m unsure if this one is designed to perform that function. I’m interested in purchasing one but would like to know for sure before doing so. Thanks!

Hi! I’m honestly not sure of the answer to your question… I am very new to vacuum sealing so I was just using basic functions, and the instruction manual is pretty brief. Maybe consult their website for more info? Sorry I can’t be of more help!

Hi! I bought this vacuum sealer and i just tried it. When I press dry or moist it is supposed to vacuum and then seal automatically but it didn't seal. Did I miss something or did something wrong? Thanks if you can help me

Hi! I’m hoping your machine doesn’t have a defect… But it should seal automatically. There is the option to seal without removing the air. But it should always seal. Did you wait until the cycle completed? (The circle light around the words is fully lit when it’s all finished)

The exterior can be wiped down, and the magnetic drip tray is supposed to catch messes. That tray is washable too. Hope that helps!

Ours didn't last long. Basically used it 5 times. Vacuum pump barely does anything. Seals well. Just no vacuum

Bummer! Ours is still going strong although we did discover it doesn’t vacuum really large/long bags. But for a standard sized vacuum seal bag we still have suction & a good seal.

V8 is junk. My 30$ Food Saver does a better job.
