Anette is long overdue to win an Academy Award! She deserves it!

Annette and Jodie were both fabulous in the movie. It was heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time, and both actresses brought out every ounce of the inherent drama. A great watch for anyone, but especially for women of a certain age.

Saw the movie - Annette Bening's performance was spectacular and so was Jodie Foster and the rest of the cast! Such an inspirational, wonderful movie!

She's always the best interviewee. Radiates intelligence and warmth. She's also quite graceful and funny, has a wealth of knowledge and stories, and is deeply honest and doesn't shy away from tough topics and questions. I also just love hearing that nice theatre-trained voice! Can't wait to see Nyad.

Annette Bening was fantastic in that clip and in this interview. Jodie Foster as costar is another plus. Sara’s comments and questions were full of her usual empathy

I’ve always enjoyed Annette Benning‘s work. I really enjoyed the movie The Grifters. I had never heard of it, and a friend introduced me to it a few weeks ago, and it was brilliant.

Something has changed for the better on the View and I love it whatever it is. These episodes are feeling like soul food; keep going!

She gave the most spectacular performance of the year PLUS she’s a veteran actress with an amazing body of work. If she doesn’t get the Oscar and gets snubbed like she did at the globes it will clearly indicate the absence of artistic value of the US film industry. Rewarding Lily G is purely political (a good cause but NOT an artistic one) and Emma Stone has one already. I do hope this wonderful actress gets rewarded. It would mean so much for talent, skill and for shutting up ageism which is rampant all over the world.

She was truly phenomenal in portraying Diana Nyad. She put her heart and soul into it and I couldn’t be more proud

Not to be a wet blanket and I haven’t seen the movie but do they point out that a lot of experts don’t believe she made the swim. I remember this and I think they were saying something about inconsistencies with timing and GPS and not enough independent monitoring. They believe her trainer helped her through certain parts of the swim.
