I have been watching this man for SIX. YEARS. Every single video has been watched, hell I practically grew up with him. I’ll say one thing, Squishy is the GOAT in my eyes and no matter what he does in his career from now on I am a life long supporter.

let's fucking gooooo i really like videos like this! it's so cool to hear your thought process and perspective. the fact that it's in replays (instead of real-time) allows you to rewind and really lay out what's going on in these high level games. watching critical moments from multiple perspectives is awesome, because at this level there are very few mistakes, and I can understand everyone's thought process when we see the replay from their perspective. i think for you as a the new leader of a trio, having a receptive team will be invaluable! nobody in that group is making INDIVIDUAL mistakes, but rather, conceded goals are coming from broader misunderstandings between teammates. if you and gimmick can get aqua on the same wavelength as you and gim's years of chemistry, he can absolutely pop tf off. this could seriously be a contending team! i believe in you all!

8 years ago, I got a big boy kitten and named him Squishy after you, Mr Muffin Man. A few weeks ago, he didn't come home. I traveled the country in a small circus. Played a lot of Rocket League, juggled, went to many schools and certification courses for yoga and therapy, met a wonderful woman, got married, bought our first home, went on adventures and descovered a bit more of what life is all about. Squishy was such a special teammate to have by my side. My wife found a stray lab mix puppy a year ago, and now we are bonding more than ever. New Team, new chapter. Great choice for M8s. Been watching for years now, and playing rl myself getting myself up to gc3. Lost motivation because i dont enjoy the way rl is played. Always agreed with squishy on how rl should be played. So simple and to me very obivious that this is how rl should be played. Yet i dont understand why we dont play this way. As for me ive stopped grinding, but i will always watch squish. Terms of playstyle, easiley the best player in the world in my opinion. Think this team will bring a new chapter to rlcs. Keep it up, im rooting for you and the boys✌️

I genuinely wish the best for you and your team squish. You deserve it, especially after all the scapegoating and haters out there that thought you or Garrett were the problem at NRG.. the truth comes out. Playing with more grounded headed players with potential will be a refreshing change and a chance to build up the muffinmen empire again. Sometimes we need a refreshing and more willing to learn personalities to continue in a meta that is always changing.

This is actually an exciting shakeup for rostermania in the offseason. I can legitimately say I didn't expect this, but watching how well you handled playing Vitality, holding them to one goal in the first game and keeping them scoreless in the second ‒in a series where you're playing with ping disadvantage AND it's your first day AND series playing as a team‒ I'm confident in saying this team has the potential to do some real damage to even the big guns in the world right now.

really excited for this team tbh, hard agree that aqua's mechanics are just different and on par with players like nwpo and only really behind zen

When you talk about not needing a coach, I agree in this game. When you add the 4th person who's out of the game, it clearly can muddy-up mindsets and how players think, but you taking that leader role while being IN the game, you're there right in the moments and can disect each play easily. Smart decision.

You know, some teams that are new are confident and believe in themselves for no good reason other than they just want to be the best. All it takes is belief. Squishy has faith, and with perseverance I see greatness in this new team.

I was really hoping I’d see the old c9 roster, but honestly it is so nice that it’s 2/3rds here. It’s been a long time since I’ve followed the pro scene (really back on 2017-18 was the last time I followed). Only till this last year with hype around zen did I follow, excited to see 2024 rlcs now
