🔹 TRICKY Chess Opening for Black Against 1.d4 [Unstoppable Attack] - • TRICKY Chess Opening f...
♛ Find these opening variations from this blog-post - chess-teacher....
In this video lesson, GM Igor Smirnov shows how to counter one of the most annoying and tricky chess openings by Black, the Englund Gambit, which arises after 1.d4 e5. Black's idea is to avoid the traditional closed queen's pawn games and create an open game with tactical chances, but at the cost of a pawn.
You will learn how to counter this gambit as White, common traps by Black and how to escape them, and how to counter Black's tricks.

For the puzzle 1.Nd5 should do it. If 1. ... Qxb5 2.Nc7+ forks the King and Queen. If 1. ... Qd8 2.Nbc7+ wins the Queen again since the King cannot move. If 1. ... Qc5 2.Be3 Qc3 3.Nbc7+ wins a Rook. And if 1. ... Qc6 2.Nbc7+ Kd8 3.Nxa8 and if 3. ... Qxd5 4.Bg5+ wins the Queen.

Qc3 comes with check and can be captured by the knights
@rv706
@rv706 Жыл бұрын
After Nbc7+ Kd8, you don't immediately take the a8 rook, cause the black Queen could capture the knight in d5. Instead, you throw a check with Bg5+ (and now the white Q is protecting the N in d5). If Black responds with f6, you simply capture dxc, threatening the discovery attack fxg7+winning the h8 rook. If, after Bg5+, Black responds with Be7 or Ne7, you simply go Bxe7+ forcing the trade Kxe7. Now you can capture the rook Nxa8 without worrying about your N in d5. (Edit: same if Bg5+Ke8, you just Nxa8 and your N in d5 is protected by your queen)

for anyone who's wondering Nd5 is the move at the end. If they take your knight you fork their queen and their king, otherwise you get their rook with the fork.

0:52 after Qb4+, you can also play Nc3, let black grab your bishop on f4, then you go Nd5, forking Queen and c7! Usually a big surprise for black, white gets a good game, specially at blitz games, if black doesnt know the line. Black should be very careful.

Englund gambit is the same as wwq attack. Hartlaub Charlick variation is much better. (dxe5 d6) also it's much trickier. Regardless of white moves except knight b5 pin(you play qd2) just bg4 nc6 nf3 qe2 000. There are potential bishop sacs on h2 if they castle. You got easy opposite side castle and easy plan (pawn push on the kingside) many opponents just develop but falls for bxh2+ either winning the queen or the king.

knight d5 with the idea of nc7 next move. If the pawn takes your knight, black loses his rook, if his queen takes your knight, that's lost to the nc7 fork. If black just moves the queen to save her, nbc7 anyway to win the rook.

Nd5 after Qd8, Nc7 is much better, this forces black to take the knight winning you the queen with check, in turn winning the rook. Nd6 check is also good, bishopf8 takes, then you take with pawn, then Nc7 check, queen takes, you take Queen with pawn, you have a very far advanced pawn threatening to promote and be used in a check mate pattern, obv you bring the bishops and queen should be an easy win. cannot see an immediate check mate tho maybe i wrong

10:11 The move is Nd5, it threathens the queen while also simultaneously resuming the threat of the fork on the next move (Nc7), and the only move that can prevent the fork from happening without losing the queen is Qd8 After Qd8, you deliver the move Nd6, and thats checkmate (correct me if im wrong)
