Saint Action most construction sites work at extremely minimal rates. It's a win win for the actual labourers and the mangers. As the labourers get a more consistent pay for doing less work and the managers get paid more by the people paying them for the job as it's taking longer.

Most construction jobs have deadlines, also companies will set a price before starting construction, so you can't milk jobs and do "minimal/less" work and get paid for doing nothing, unless you're a sub contractor stealing from your employer working at an hourly rate which is extremely fucked up.

Lodlum B Uhhh no. Unless it's a government contract, you can't change your budget. The job is almost put up like an auction. Usually the lowest bid gets it, accounting for time and materials. If you go over that you're eating into the company profits, and eventually costing your employer money. There is a union saying, "don't work yourself out of a job" but they still have a deadline.
