He is too afraid to tell anyone about his anguish, except child psychologist Dr. Meiko Menma (Bruce Willis). As Dr. Menma tries to uncover the truth about Jinta's supernatural abilities, the consequences for client and therapist are a jolt that awakens them both to something unexplainable.

What's really weird is the scene in (I think) the second episode where she eats a slice of meat just as Poppo turns away. Like, a massive fucking slice of it. Was that...was that *intentional*? Also, what would that have looked like to someone who couldn't see her? She takes showers, too. What would that look like? I mean, all jokes aside, I can't imagine an answer that isn't terrifying. If this were told from the perspective of Jintan's dad, it would be a horror series about a man who questions his own sanity on the daily, eventually giving up and consoling himself with the knowledge that at least the hallucinations/apparitions are cute.

Someone like needs to make a legit anime out of this dub. The dialogue is genuinely better than most anime out there. Just change the names of the characters and some events and voila you have a fourth wall breaking drama anime that does not takes itself too seriously. Also, keep the sex-crazed Menma character without ever using fanservice with her.
