Anon(ymous) by Naomi iizuka is a modern retelling of Homer’s The Odyssey. It tells the story of a refugee from a war-torn country who has been separated from his mother. As he journeys through the United States he escapes entrapment, gets guidances from a goddess, and discovers unexpected friendships on his quest to find home.
