The big Push “It’s Alight” is awesome too. Ren also has a song named “It’s Alright”, done as a soloist, that’s fire as well. Same name, but 2 totally different songs.

This dog reminded me of a Ren video. He was younger and busking alone on the street and a person walked by with a dog and the dog just stopped by Ren and stayed to listen. I know it is my imagination, but for me it seems that the dog just knew what an amazing person Ren is. 😊

Oh, man...I was grinning from ear to ear as soon as they started. Sting (and The Police) were definitely in the rotation of music my parents put on, throughout my childhood. The more recordings I watch of Ren, and see the range of musical influences (rapping about Leonard Cohen and Django Reinhardt...seriously?!), the more I feel like he is a kindred spirit to Jeff Buckley; a guy who would cover Hank Williams, Edith Piaf, and Van Morrison in the same sitting. I'm so happy that I've come across this guy's music, and that, because people are paying attention and spreading the word.

Hey Cliff I love your Ren reactions! On a sidenote: I put off learning to play the guitar until I was in my mid 30’s for similar reasons as you (well, kinda, I only have one hand left) and finally getting over the “i really really would love to play but can’t” and find a way to just learn it (slow but steady) regardless was the best decision ever. Kinda angry with myself that I didnt start earlier but oh well, wisdom comes with age or where there’s a will there’s a way or whatever they say. So Im sure you could also find yours if you gave it another serious try 😊

short and pudgy fingers are the best. i have double jointed fingers. so they are crooked, fat and short. you can't even tell what chords im playing because its just a big bunch of flesh and fat on the fretboard

I used to say, when Sting was more mainstream, don’t try to do a Sting cover because you’re going to come up short and just look bad doing so but I think I liked this one better than Sting’s! Ren is so eclectic and kills it every time. Crazy!
