Another Disappointing Disney World Anniversary | EPCOT 40 | Enjoying our Favorite Attractions!

In today's video it's the 40th anniversary of EPCOT at Walt Disney World and I had to be there because this is my favorite theme park at WDW. But the anniversary was extremely underwhelming and disappointing as it just honestly felt like another day at Epcot. We did make the most out of the day with using Disney genie plus with stacking up lighting lanes all morning and afternoon which lead us to getting on just about every attraction. I also show you the insane line for the exclusive merchandise. We also get a few of our favorite drink and food items to celebrate the anniversary. Finally I show you the special 40th tag at the end of beacons of magic on spaceship earth. There is a special giveaway in this video and I will announce the winner on October 9th, 2022 (U.S. only). What I like the most of Epcot is just looking at the engineering involved in the big globe lol and when it’s lit up like that to me it’s amazing! Oh and the attraction Soarin , it’s like you’re flying ❤️! Love all of your vlogs and adventures PCDev and Bianca ❤️

The original Epcot attractions are just incomparable. If you are.. of a certain age, those attractions are etched into the most magical of memories. The orange smell in horizons along with its interactive aspect. That rainbow path into image works and everything beyond it that captivated. The dream finder. The water fountains outside journey into imagination. The toasty smell in the energy adventure. The kitchen Kabaret. There was just nothing like it. Never will be again.

I loved that Kitchen Cabaret! It was adorable! There are some attractions I really miss. I do not like what they did to Journey into imagination! I like the original with Dream Finder!

When I heard We Go On and Walt’s voice at the end, I broke down in tears. Bring back illuminations please. And Epcot, you deserved MUCH MORE celebration on your 40th.

100% agree - Illuminations ROE was the best night show at WDW to me...We go on at the end was such a powerful and beautiful song - I would love to see that come back permanently

I agree. I always cry on “We Go On”. Illuminations is near and dear to me. I’m an ex cast member, and I use to work for their contracted babysitting services (Kindercare). I would babysit in the Disney resorts and watch Illuminations from the balconies. I also watched it with my daughter when we went to Epcot on a regular. Please bring it back!

My favorite thing about Epcot is the world showcase! I love being able to see and learn about so many other cultures in such an immersive way. I also really loved Maelstrom. Was one of my favorite WDW attractions and I am still sad that I’ll never be able to go on it again.

The best part of the light show on Spaceship Earth was hearing Walt's voice announcing EPCOT. Makes me tear up. He had a big dream!

I have to share a story. My son had speech challenges when he was little. Our first trip to Disney was when the kids were almost 3. My son said to one of the dinosaur trees in The Land “Hi dino, my name Nicky”. It was the first time he said a full sentence! That will be my most favorite memory of all time ❤️

Happy 40th Anniversary EPCOT!! I love they put the Illuminations Reflections of Earth music in the closing of the park. Spaceship Earth is amazing now. It's been 4 years for us now not visiting Walt Disney World. So much has changed and I get to see it through your videos PCDEV!! Thanks so much!!

I was all choked up during the spaceship earth lights show,and also during the frozen ever after clip. I was supposed to be doing it in august with my grandchildren, but life said “oh yeah?” And I was undergoing chemo instead. Ha ha. But we’ll all be back again in few more months and it’ll be my 4th Disney world trip. Can’t wait! Glad you guys escaped the worst of Ian. Stay safe and magical!

I love Epcot so much. I went 40 years ago when it opened. I remember feeling so in awe of Spaceship Earth back then and I still feel that way! Yes, it's changed drastically over the years & nothing compares to the original rides, but it's still amazing and seeing that Spaceship Earth 40th lighting package, so cool! Thanks Dev for sharing 😊

I love the entertainment- the voices of liberty particularly, whom they honored along with Mariachi Cobre at the 40th celebration presentation in the morning. Japan drummer, jaminators, piano player and bands in UK, amazing concerts in the American Gardens Theater- so much talent to love

I love the meaning of epcot. the connection we all have to one another and how epcot has not only grown because that is what Walt would want but the people epcot represents have grown as well. loved the living with the land throwback!

I miss the old original Epcot attractions. I went for the 1st time at 5 years old and Magic Kingdom was magical but Epcot sparked a lifelong passion for science, travel, and learning in general. Those original rides that I rode over and over, year after year never seemed to get old. The replacements never seemed to spark the same excitement as the original rides. I would love the EPCOT 40th poster for my room. So beautiful and thanks for taking us along to the 40th birthday!

Happy 40th to Epcot! I love Epcot because it’s nostalgic. I grew up as a Disney kid and my sister now works for the company at Epcot! I wasn’t able to be there for the 40th celebration and I loved being able to watch it through your video. It felt like I was there and my favorite part was watching the show at night with the Epcot ball! It made me tear up hearing the old Epcot songs as I listen to the music quite often! My favorite part about the park itself is the aspect of the world showcase and going when the festivals are going on. After having it as my least favorite park as a kid, going back as a 21 year old last year has made it go from fourth to first! Plus Guardians is my new favorite coaster ever! Hi Dev and Bianca, thank you for another great video. My family and I went to Epcot for the first time in 2021. It was very crowded and hot. Unfortunately we missed out on some of the rides due to the long wait times. I love watching you on a ride because it makes me feel like I am there with you. Thank you for sharing this video. I will not be able to make it back to Disney until next year, so getting to experience Epcot’s 40th through your eyes is a blessing. Epcot is my favorite park. I love experiencing the culture and festivals. Will be so glad when they fully bring back the Cultural Representative Program. One of my most favorite things to do is the scavenger hunts. I have found so many hidden places and met some fantastic people that way. I do miss some of the original attractions that have since been removed specifically Journey into Imagination and Dreamfinder.

Loved your video! Haven't been to EPCOT since 1996, but it was our kids' favorite park. Sorry that Maelstrom is gone but glad Rose & Crown is still there. We knew that your picture was taken during Journey of Imagination to purchase at the end so snapped our own family photo at the same time. And those were the days when you could still go to all four parks in one day with no charge if you had the time and determination so we did on our last day. Happy memories!!

I love so many things about Epcot but especially the nostalgia of it all. My first trip was in 1985. I loved the 40th Anniversary Beacons of Magic show on Spaceship Earth! Happy 40th Epcot! I was supposed to be there on Saturday, 10/1, however, due to the hurricane, my trip was canceled. I was excited to be there for my favorite park's birthday! I rescheduled for the weekend of 10/20 and I am hoping to still find a few treats, but more important, to hear some of the former attraction songs. Watching your video made me miss Horizons, World of Motion, Kitchen Cabaret, Communicore, and Malestrom even more! I am glad you and Bianca are ok. Thank you for bringing Epcot to me❤

I love the diversity of Epcot and all that it brings!! Gotta say hearing the illuminations song brought a tear to my eye. I loved that show ❤

No way would I wait that long for Merchandise ! Glad you both made it to the 40 th anniversary Epcot ! I love soarin , I do miss the original version !

I love walking around the pavilions and trying food I don't get at home. I love eating at Disney- they handle special diets so well and it's a place I feel "normal" and like I don't have to sacrifice!
