I hear ya. But I think he's trying to save his job by saying things look great in the big picture. There's a purpose to what's he's saying. He's not being delusional. It won't work, though. The INEOS people will see right through it. They may even think that Ten Hag is insulting their intelligence by saying everything is great. He's digging himself deeper and deeper into trouble. He'll be gone by the end of the season, if not sooner.

Getting rid of Penaldo was the one good decision by Ten Hag though. Penaldo is an eternal loser sitting in the penalty area for 90 minutes every game waiting for tap ins and penalties. Dude was finished 5 years ago and had to go.

The manager does not train players at this level to pass and retain the ball at this level. These are skills the players either have or do not have. Have you noticed that our team cannot pass nor dribble thereby incapable of winning duels? No matter what pattern of play they are taught, if they cannot do the fundamentals, it will result in the drivel we are seeing. You actually think that ever other manager is better than Ten Hag? Utter rubbish! This is on the team that he has. However, he has to take some blame because he bought some of them. I blame both the players and the manager, but the players have to take the majority of the blame. I think Ten Hag has lost his power and he is pandering to the players to save his job. They are playing as individuals and the manager does not seem to be able to change this. Mc Tominay shot today is another example.

Bro we plays our 4th choice cb at lb. We have been riddled with injuries whole season its hard to get chemistry going. Thats just a start. We have so many lazy individual players in the team that its not helping the matters either. Not only that, we have a keeper that gk is mot his best trait, a defender who dont know to defend, a winger who is hardworker but only good at spinning, a midfielder who can score better than pass.

That takes its toll when you're compensating for the lack of defensive input from Cristiano, and also winning at the same time.

Liverpool fan so take what I say with a grain of salt. United was clearly poor today. Ten Hag says these things to try and manifest positive results. They have a handful of good young players but the rest of the lineup is mediocre. United isn’t built to play thru adversity. At Liverpool even if a player is struggling, at least the work rate and attitude is still there. Watching United players like Rashford I have a greater appreciation for all our players even if they are less talented.

Bruno-Gives away the ball far too often. Never controls the midfield. Rashford-Lazy, disinterested, doesn’t track back, can’t play in a possession team. Casemiro-Legs are gone. Very obvious now. Constantly caught in transition. Eriksen-Same as Casemiro. Garnacho-Plays on an island by himself. Mainoo-Talented on the ball but really only operates at one speed. He will continue to grow as a player but he’s very slow in transition and often goes long periods of time not touching the ball. Maguire-Takes an eternity to play the ball out of the back. He literally spends an extra 2-3 seconds on the ball every single time he has it. Slows down the attack significantly and allows the opposition to resettle. McTominay-Scores the odd goal making late runs into the box but offers literally nothing else besides that as a center mid. United always lose the midfield with him playing. I could go on and on about many other players but that’s it for now.

The biggest mistake by ETH in this game was putting Rashford up front. He should've put McTominay as the 9 and left the wingers to be wingers. Rashford has shown numerous times in the past 18 months that he can't play as a 9 and he has no interest in even trying. Everything up front was dysfunctional because ETH swapped that forward line around. Still, though, this panel takes every chance they get to beg for the sacking of ETH. Newcastle just got annihilated by Arsenal and are 3 spots lower in the table than United with 7 less points. Where's the agenda to sack Howe? Same for Chelsea and Poch. United has had just as many injuries (I'd argue more, and more impactful injuries) as Spurs, Newcastle, Villa, etc., but that never ever gets mentioned by anyone.

Rashford deja vu all over again. Some delusional fans blaming Ronaldo, one of the best in the world, for not pressing and chasing the ball. No player is bigger than the club. Never acknowledged what he said about the club, coach, players and structure. And here we are, Bruno and Rashford enjoying their lives playing every game. Especially Rashford regardless how many times he missed trainings or put 0 effort on the pitch, he is so well protected by the club, some fanbase and his PR team. He made Ronaldo looks like a saint.

At this point, I think Ten Hag is saying things to save his job, which reflects poorly on him for a number of reasons. And if he is doing that, that's really stupid -- he's essentially insulting the intelligence of the INEOS people, who know better. He's looking really bad. And Ten Hag can't get away from the fact that he showed very poor judgment with several of his signings. That's the thing that he can never hide or make excuses for, and why I think he'll be fired. (His choice of Bruno to be the captain looks really bad, too.) And he's sealing his termination by trying talk his way out of trouble with INEOS. Those guys have seen and heard it all, and they're sophisticated. They aren't the Glazers, and Ten Hag doesn't seem to recognize that, which shows he's unsophisticated. Ten Hag also can't get the team to play well consistently, which is super important. I'm not a Ten Hag hater. It's just really obvious, at this point, that he has to go at the end of the season. I'd be shocked if he's still around. I don't see any upside in keeping him. None.

How a grown man like Ten Hag, a supposed professional in his field can be this delusional is beyond me 😢😢 like it's crazy... bruh has no pattern, and comes up with some painful excuses. They are painful to watch. Weak on all fronts and have been scraping and struggling to win relegation fodder teams
