I can hear Mark's "Alright, deck intro time" from afar.

Not even can be this disruption or swaping enemy attack with the own minions. But this can be used as a kind of stat-doubling/windfury-effect for one turn like: you have two minions on board that can go face than the one with the higher attack goes face than you use Voljin to swap the stats from the minion that attacked to the other that can still attack to have possibly two big hits in one turn (maybe even lethal). And thats just a niche strategy that came to my mind and there are many uses for this, very flexible card.

I think it needs to be said. In standard any tourist is good just because you would probably be happy if you borrow even a single a card that way. We have seen with Renathal that dead cards are fine nowadays since your hand is never empty 'cause you aren't playing every card in your hand. But just in case you need to play something, this card is kinda better than a spider tank

Don't even necessarily need Inner Fire... super-buff the health of a minion, switch the stats with a Stonetusk Boar, then Topsy-Turvy.

Since you brought it up, Vol'jin in bgs only swaps attack for a turn now. Unfortunately there was too many abusable lines that limited design. That being said, he's really broken with his buddy rn.

This card will only be played for the tourist text, this is a highly situational effect that more often than not is gonna slightly buff one of your minions, later in the game most decks have ways to deal with this effect or just don't really care

This card to me it's only good in Zarimi Priest... very easy to get lethal with it as long your opponent has something bigger than your stuff.

3 mana is so cheap, is impossible for Chillin' Voljin to not be good with that effect, plus is the Tourist card for priest

Ok so i wouldnt say best, but i wouldnt say worse. I just need a minion with a good battlecry but crappy stats or that priest's soulbound ashtongue

Priest legendary cards have been pretty good for a while now. Ama'thul was obviously much better than Raden, but Raden isn't bad just not suited for the current meta. Pip has found her niche. Raza has broken combo potential. Elise, like Ra-den, is more of a product of the meta than anything. The bigger problem for Priest are that their cards are control in a meta where control doesn't mean anything. Heck even with this set most of their cards would be A tier in other classes. Warlock would live the cards that Priest got. Soulburner Varia would have been a great Deathknight card. Narain in paladin with order in the court would be insane. However I will say that Vol'jin feels like a priest card that will work in Priest unlike a lot of the other cards. Oh and wild shadowrpiest will love the upgrades.

That's a really powerful card, it could do some broken combos in Wild with Charge minions. And for tomorrow's upcoming Hunter cards I predict there won't be any Secrets because they would too predictable in Priest.

Vol'jins effect seems kind of mid to be honest. Doesnt do all that much in a game where stat swapping is just not that good anymore.

This card has 0 synergy with anything priest is doing which is just so Priest, isn’t it?

Definitely overrating for this but it is absolutely a situational 4 star card.

I honestly cannot see this seeing any play at all outside of accessing Hunter cards. Swapping stats is such a clunky effect, it requires you have 2 targets to swap (So unlike the Origami cards it's not a removal enabler itself you'd need another minion in play to utilize it) and you have to be able to capitalize on the stat swap in some way. Sure, maybe you can activate a Deckhand by swapping a handbuffed giant Paladin minion and hit face for a ton... But what's your plan against every other deck that doesn't make massive minions? At best I can see you maybe swapping stats with a 1 mana 1/1 you play (Such as something copied from Puppet Theatre or your Mini Clay Matriarch) where the card is basically just a crappy Tarim... As far as Inner Fire Priest goes in Wild? You must be joking right? Inner Fire Priest uses Wave of Apathy + Pint Sized Potion to steal an enemy minion to effectively have Charge (It can also be used on a Taunt minion to stop it being in the way to boot). Which is way better than doing something like Stonetusk Boar + Vol'jin.

I have to say I absolutely loathe how this greedy dev team just murders archetypes every expansion for the sake of being forced to buy/win more packs.

This card is a joke, 5/5 garbage for standard. All the cards are made for DH without a doubt...apart from this one just "exists" and all I hear is wild wild wild... What are these cards? 2nd gen warlock cards in 2024 priest that hurt even more on top of not getting a single heal oriented mechanic to balance this trash mechanic. Meanwhile warlock cards and synergies are off the charts and heal more than priest. Sometimes I'm just wondering while playing against them where's the downside to these powerfull effects, even printing neutral cards like "sludge" mechanic with the only sludge oriented card/legendary EXCLUSIVE FOR THEM, on top of now getting again the only card that can remove plagues and bombs from your deck with announce darkness..... But I digress.... What will hurt even more until this trash expansion gets rotated out is the fact that these mediocre cards will be as an option for discover mechanic... Rip priest
