Just passed Depot Bay day before yesterday went and fished sunset bay yesterday morning and limited on rock fish, one 24”ling , left bay this morning headed back to Idaho . Like your video’s would like to fish there one day ! Tight lines !

Amazing, it's a great, infrequent experience. Please understand that rockfish are long-lived. Maybe not the best for fishing.

Mono leader will break off easier. Snagging up solid with braid in a kayak can be sketchy. Well done out there!

Thank you PK. One thing that has always caused me to hesitate taking my kayak out is sharks. I may be naive and maybe I watch too much TV, but is this something you worry about?

All the time. I worry about it every trip. The seals are also dangerous as they can snatch your fish. Ocean fishing is pretty scary at times, just gotta keep alert and put your head on a swivel.
