Shawn, this song is about people emigrating from LATAM. The train you watched in the video is the one called "La Bestia". It crosses from Mexico's Southern border to the Northern one with the U.S. It goes full of poor people who take a huge risk just looking for a better life and having the ilusion of "the American Dream". But when they finally arrive to the U.S. (if not die during the trip), they only find a bad boss ("jefe"), who takes advantage of their illegal status in the country. That makes these people very vulnerable but they have no option. Only accept a "trabajo de mierda" a shit job. They are exploited by those "jefes" and they never reach the "American dream". So this song is critic and it puts on the table, how Hispanic people are treated in the US... 🧐
