Hi, I recently got a new LM Signal and noticed that one wire cutting blade was screwed on wrong... When I closed the pliers, the pliers didn't touch, but one wire cutting blade touched the inside of the pliers... Easy fix with a torx #8, but watch out for this if you buy a new LM... Peace

I got an elementum, wowtac w1 and a skeletool cx (with the Hammer Jammer) as my main edc and i gotta say, the skeletool is really awesome. and your Videos were kinda the reason i bought the skeletool. same with the elementum. so big big big big thanks to you man!!!!

Wonder if it's just that particular colorway for some reason. I got the aqua version and it's thankfully, perfect. Haven't seen anyone in the other reviews with that problem either, though I notice in the comments some others have.

head too hard to open? a bit of metal polisher. and it works like a charm, wont bind up even after great force is applied. i have tried all the youtube video method and comments. this one actually works. (tti)

thanks, gonna try this next. Some superfine diamond paste made for watches might work! Im so damn tired of my leatherman signal at this point. Brand new, out of the box and ive been working on getting it to work for days now : /

my leatherman signal was a disaster. ive tried this method AND ive tried hitting it as well (as shown in other videos) nothing seems to work. Hitting it actually makes it feel like a new one, but only until you tighten the grip and then its back to square one. Im SO disappointed in leatherman - they are NOT what they used to be. My old ones still work flawlessly and they are 15-20 years old by now.. never even had an issue. The quality control is really bad nowadays.

Yep, they fired most of their QC team...only check 1 in 100 today.

I've had a Leatherman since they first came out. Figured I'd buy my fourth after wearing my third one out. Been very happy with all of their tools in the past. But just recently purchased the signal and it looks like someone owned it for a year and sent it back. The blades were all scratched up and the coyote tan paint had debris in it. Insulted that they even sent me that too in that condition.Leatherman's quality is definitely not what it used to be.

Good! Of the five I got 2 were bad. One more was bad from a friend who has me mod one.

@@maxlvledc ...... two of mine are stainless heads and one has the black anodized coating. The black one will indeed bind but not to the degree you describe in your video. I can work it free where it has smooth action again just by opening and closing a couple of times. I don't think it is an alignment issue .... I'm thinking the coating is wearing off in globs and binding the two halves of the pliers together. Stainless one are butterfly knife smooth but not out of the box. Takes awhile to break it in.
