Oh no not hives!!!! That’s the worst…but your painting is one of the best! I hope you frame it. I’ve never thought to use the white gouache (or watercolor) at the end. I really like that; definitely will give this technique a go! In the Grand Art Lottery, this one was definitely a winner 🥇 ❤🎉 Thank you, Irene! And I hope your maples are celebrating spring with their excessive helicopter seedlings, not giving up a last hurrah😅

I too find watercolors the most fun and fascinating medium to play with. Does that mean that I should get rid of all the tons of other mediums that are also fun and easily collected? 😂 NEVER ❤. By the way, great 👍 painting 😊

glad you're having fun with florals! but for me, I feel like no matter how many other people I see enjoying themselves with loose watercolor florals, I feel like it's never gonna be something that I enjoy painting myself. woe is me! man, hearing the word "wash" pronounced like "worsh" gets me riled up every single time lol. like, who even decided that that was going to become a widespread thing?? I used to hear it all the time when I worked at the mall. like yes sir, I will ring up those light worsh jeans for you 😭😭
