I absolutely love how the instrumentation in this one reflects Hotland. Hotland is, obviously, a land of volcanoes. But it's also occupied by a lab and a HUUUUGE building. There's a sadistic, intense background with a "sciency" layer of synths to coat it all.

As you continue on your path, the heat of burning lava next to you starts to intensify. But you keep pushing through. After all, It's just like everything else you have gone through on your journey, and you can't exactly complain, even if there is nothing to be currently happy about. The land just doesn't bring any excitement. No matter if you look at it with positivity or negativity, it's still just another medium.

Ah, one of the best songs in the soundtrack in my opinion. More means of transportation, more people to be befriended, more exp to gain =)~ Another mode, another me, from the freezing cold to the burning, dead heat, this is Another Medium indeed.

XD Awesome rendition. I do hope you'll continue with some of the others you haven't done yet. On aside, think you could try something with the Suikoden 1-2 OST? I'm really curious to see what you might do with say Theme of the Advancing Army, Distant Mountain, Beautiful Morning, Iron Fist of Anger and the many other beautiful themes found in those games.
