Another so called BUILT transmission with ZERO miles... All started out with the customer’s son miss stabbing the transmission’s torque convertor oops. The unit never worked after putting fluid in it so he yanked it back out and brought it to us after seeing a couple of these SUPPOSEDLY built transmission videos. So all that being said I hope they got a decent job the first time let’s find out together. I hope everyone enjoys thanks for watching. 👍🏼❤️🙏🏼

@Bob Watters its complex to mirror the action of fuzzy logic.. since a computer sees off and on there is no otherway to imitate 'feathering a clutch' In other words if you tell a computer to run a manual it will let the clutch go and the car will stall or jump like a bucking bronco ... The fuzzy logic at least keeps it a an audible THUNK.. and that was early transmissions now they are so advanced with throttle management and timing to change based on how you drive

The engineering genius involved in the creation of an automatic transmission to begin with is mind blowing
@toomanyhobbies2011

Genius? Not really. More like lots of hard work and creative application of existing technology. Spend a few minutes understanding how planetary gears work, they are the heart of an automatic transmission. All the hydraulics and electronics are refinements on the theme that enable the thing to shift by itself.

@maggiejetson7904
@maggiejetson7904 3 жыл бұрын
That's just a tear down, you still need to clean and measure EVERYTHING going back in and that's a lot more work. This is why mechanics usually don't rebuild in a shop anymore, they just swap for a rebuild with warranty from a rebuilder and then send in the core. Or they just send the car to a 3rd world country and let them do a good enough 3rd world rebuild once in a while, or pull a junkyard crashed vehicle's transmission.
