Thank you! Really appreciate that. My dispatcher finds my loads. It’s honestly all about luck. There’s no specific way to find those loads. They are rare but sometimes they are on the load board and you have to be the first to calm or it’ll be taken really quickly. Plus a lot of times I have partials that all add up to a good paying load.

Thanks. The monitor with the temp is on my trailer tires. The temp will fluctuate always. Plus if the pressure in the tire is a bit higher the temp will be higher. I honestly don’t pay too much attention to the temp because I don’t know what’s normal.

It's usually with an app, you text a formatted photo of the signed BOL upon delivery.

The factoring company that ai use or any other factoring company will have an app. You will fill out the info they ask for and upload the signed BOL and if done before noon you get paid next day and if after noon then you’ll get paid after one day.

Thank you! They are both Google maps. One is CarPlay from my phone to truck screen and the other one is Google maps on my iPad. Like to have two on just in case one turns off or if ai ever need to zoom in and look at a certain area it’s easier to do on the iPad.

@@Mr.AlexKogan makes sense. I was thinking of investing in the Garmin GPS. How do you plan your course with GPS from Google and avoid winding up on roads that shouldn’t be traveled with the truck and trailer?

@@CSell-qi4ds I just put the address in and just look through the planned trip and see what roads I’m taking and go from there. Most of the time Google maps is good. If I see it’s taking me a way I shouldn’t go, I turn on trucker path map on.

I can tell you 6-8 percent with your own authority is a good rate. Anything lower and I’d be questioning how is that possible.

@@Mr.AlexKogan hi Alex, yes that percentage is around what I was thinking the one that I know charges 7%. So between dispatching and factoring you’re looking at around 10 %.

@@mr.fleites6839 most factoring companies are around 2.5%. I recommend trying RTS financial for factoring. They offer a good fuel card too. 7% factoring sounds reasonable.

@@Mr.AlexKogan yes I’ve used them before I like better Mudflap and ES Advantage I don’t know if you’ve heard of them they are good . Also have you heard of ATF Dispatch ? I’ve spoken to a lot of guys and they say they are really good

@@mr.fleites6839 I have Mudflap but it’s not that great and it doesn’t have as many locations. I have not heard of ATF dispatch and I really have not heard of many dispatch company names in general because I’ve never searched for any.

A lot of the times things like this make kids sense but since it was in the rate confirmation, I have to do it.

I have my phone showing Google maps on my car screen and the reason I have it up on my iPad is in case one turns off for some reason and also J can zoom in on my iPad to look at certain turns or areas while on the highway while I can’t do that on my phone while it’s connected to CarPlay.

It depends on my loads and the states that I’m in. I’d save average is around 9mpg.

Driver. Stay patient. Your time is coming. I drove for 14 yrs, licensed for 10yrs. Are you an owner operator, lease purchase, or company driver? All three play different roles in the same arena. As an O/O you may get 5k in a week, but you pay wayyy more in expenses at the end of the week, especially in fuel.

Are you a brand new hotshot trucking company? Dispatchers and customers probably aren't familiar with you still...do you constantly run or are you home too much? See what I'm getting at? The economy is shit right now. Pray it all changes in November driver.

I like to be between $6-8k average per week. $5k is a not so great week for me. I used to rarely have weeks that are $5k. I guess it’s just a bad luck streak. Need to take some time off and recharge and maybe things will change for the better. I don’t know. We will see.
