How to Master Your Tracks with Stock FL Studio Plugins

In this video, I'll show you how I mastered a recent remix that I produced. I'll also talk a bit about mastering in general, and some things you should know if you plan on mastering your own music. Hope you like the tutorial!
One thing I forgot to mention in the tutorial is that it can be a good idea to do volume automation at the end to create a bit more dynamics between you're verse and chorus' or build ups and drops etc. Just another technique to keep in mind and experiment with.

What a great concept!! The previous video that you're talking about was so great, it all means about productions & mixing, but thankfully you include mastering right now. amazing!

Cool stuff. Like the dynamic eq technique. I'm a snob and only use fl stock plug ins, you can actually accomplish the same with all stock plug ins. Place parametric eq 2 on the master, insert fruity peak controller on the instrument track (kick, bass or whatever you're attenuating) , link the frequency band to fruity peak controller (peak without the LFO to keep it simple). Use the knobs to create and inverse envelope opposite of the audio input. Press the space bar and watch those frequency bands dance.

I mostly agree but swapping out fruity limiter for something like fabfilter limiter is an absolute must. Fruity limiter is great, i use it for sidechaining and limiting in the mix but whilst mastering, the difference is chalk and cheese. Been using FL since version 8 and only started using a 3rd party limiter earlier this year. My tracks can hold much more clarity whilst also being much louder. Stock plugins are made to be CPU friendly, 3rd party plugins are cpu heavy but usually perform better. Hope this helps anybody that reads it 😀

The problem for me is that, before i send my pre-master to my friend for mastering, i really make sure that i fix those really minor mistakes and that is why i haven’t released anything yet in a while. But anyways, thanks for this tutorial. I found a lot of helpful tips here
