In this video, I'll be creating a new custom template for myself, and going over some important things to consider if you decide to create your own custom template. Creating a custom template can ultimately save you countless hours of time in your workflow. If you have been following the channel for awhile, you know I'm all about finding ways to maximize workflow and save time. It's been a long time coming, but I've decided to make a few tweaks in my workflow and my template. I hope you find the tutorial helpful!

Massively underrated tip, while it's likely going to change over time, it does save so much time. Opening up FL Studio and just having everything already set up so you can just focus on the music making! Looking forward to learning some more tips about how best to go about setting one up!

This works for people who have the experience, and have developed a routine using techniques and plugins...they KNOW gives them the best results.

I did this 3 years ago and I hate myself for not doing it sooner. But in another hand you need to find your favorite plugins and style to be able to do it properly, my templet is still evolving to this day. I hope more KZfaqrs had a video like this, thx for the tip man.

I'm in the same boat. I've had a custom template for awhile, but I've been thinking a lot of tweaking my workflow a bit and also my template. It's been a long time coming but I think all the changes I've added to this template are going to save me a LOT more time. And I do think everyone should create their own custom template and tweak it over time as you mentioned

This is something that I've been neglecting to do for years haha. I think I might finally set one up. I also find that it's way easier to do the mastering on the same track. I used to render out a separate track too and ended up always needing to fix something in the mix. Great video man!

I just have to say that that a song can often be very personal and so can a template. Meeting the same template with the same color variations and plugins can (sometimes) do bad for your inspiration. But, like in every situation, listen to yourself, from all the things you have been taught, you have to choose what feels right for you in that moment.

Hi! Is it possible to create slap bass-house in Sytrus as Dynoro did?

It will probably be easier to make in a synth like vital, but I’ll see what I can come up with

@@AnotherMonster I am learning how to use Sytrus. All People say Sytrus can do anything. You will get the service of Sytrus, you do not need external instruments. Is it true? hmmmm ... Please prove. Thank you and sorry for your time

@@basseniash you can do anything in Sytrus, however plugins like vital are bit more user friendly and easier to create some sounds. I’ll see what I can come up with in sytrus tho

I have one question that I can't seem to find the answer to. How do I send a track through a sidechain send along with a reverb/delay send as well? I never get the sound I want when I send them through both at the same time. If you could include the answer to this in a future video, or refer me to an old video, or just a quick reply, that would be greatly appreciated!
@AnotherMonster
@AnotherMonster 2 жыл бұрын
Never tried to do this and I’m not sure there’s a good answer. You may have to just settle for processing the tracks separately and then routing them through the sidechain. You can always copy and paste your effects chains. It’s possible there’s a better answer out there, but I don’t know it

Yeah. I love having meters and analysers available for every track, but until recently I was adding meters to individual mixer channels (especially if the master channel had some other effects I wanted to be "ignored" by the meters) and then I suddenly noticed there was a *Current* Channel next to the master that is the perfect place for analysis/meters. I don't need a VU or LUFS meter or frequency analysis plugin loaded on *every* channel rack or the master. Just put them on Current Channel and then use left/right cursor keys to check each mixer channel.
