Anoushka says:
´It all started with Jamaican food. Cellist Ayanna Witter-Johnson came over with an open heart, a secret recipe and the seed of a new melody, which I tended and helped grow. We wrote a poem about memories, loss, and nostalgic words. Shirin Anandita took our original poem and helped it evolve into beautiful Punjabi lyrics of her own.
Finally, Shilpa Rao shared her gorgeous voice with us to bring those lyrics to life. ´

This was truly beautiful Anoushka Ji 👏👏 The Sitar took Me to a totally different state. At the end ( around the 4:11 Mark ), that sound of “chirping” was really a beautiful way to end this rendition… That sound was so realistic, I thought it was the sound of birds chirping from My garden ( still early morning here )…

Anoushka's playing really makes the sitar sing adn together with Shilpa's voice this is a lovely duet. Outstanding dance on the roof too! Shot on phones? Sure sounds better than that but I'm sure that better microphones were used than those in mobile phones ... which are usually worthless pieces of junk.
