Here's a quick how to for the Anschutz bolt. Many of these models are very similar.

Would you happen to know where to find a replacement bolt ? I have a Spotter model 164M that belonged to my Dad but don’t know how the bolt agent missing , and just can’t seam to find one

Hello i have a anshutz 1518 and i cant get the bolt off the rifle. I suppose that yo press the button to do it but i cant press it down. Do yo know what the problem is? Best regards from sweden.

Is this the older bolt or newer bolt. I have a older bolt that needs a firing pin and I found a pdf on how to do a conversion with the newer parts but I thought the older bolts didnt have a compression spring on the firing pin. But the old bolt does have the nub on the striker pin.

I believe this rifle was dated 1971

@@precisionmachineshed Mine has a 68 on it. Did you do anything to the bolt? I didn't think the firing pin had a spring on them originally.

It’s the new style. The old style has a hook on the back of the pin rather than the nipple

The little circular pin/knob at the back of the bolt doesnt push down and makes ot so my bolt doesnt fully close, do you have any idea how i can fix this?

@@kamranjanvri4619 I figured it out a while ago, turns out you have to pull back that part of the bolt and twist it (while you're pulling it back) till you realign it how it should be. Then just slide the whole thing back in. Not the best description but I hope it helps!

@IcyMizore thank you though I got help from Anscutz website all I had to to was to pull back the rear end of the bolt to twist the pin side towards bolt rail
