I want them to add trubodies, every single animal have the same size like all of the duck species have the same body shape, all coyotes have the same bodie, all deer have the same size

What is the purpose of hitting "h" which drops everything you are holding? Does that make you even quieter? One disappointment about the game is capping the player xp to 293384, and level to 60. It did not take me that long to max-out, just a few months. For many games, it might take a year or longer to reach the highest level.

I think that "h" puts whatever you are holding back in it's "h" holster. I agree about the capping. Would like to go higher and get ALL the perks, etc.

@@e.kent.d9561 I wouldn't mind it if got much harder to get to the next level - like taking 3 months to get to level 61. It gives you something to work towards.

I think holstering everything is just simply to get it off your screen. I'm not aware of any change to visibility or noise. And I'm with ya, I really wish they'd raise the level cap

😂I don’t. He plays the hunter call of the wild as a job. If been subbed to flinter for 2 years now and I watch all his videos and streams for the most part. I think that it’s awesome that he can help people out when they don’t know certain things about the game. But that’s his job. Make videos and entertain us. You don’t need to feel bad because he answers the same question more than once 😂😂. I would love it if I could make a living off of playing video games. I would be happy if I helped other by answering their questions. Hey what do I know 😂😂😂 Sorry if I seemed harsh. You don’t need to fell bad for him. Just be happy that he gets to do this and he is doing a fantastic job. Keep it up flitnter. I don’t feel bad that you teach me things. But I am happy you do.

Use the codex to find what kind of terrain the animal you're hunting likes to hang out in and use it to see what their senses are like. Do they have good sense of smell, or do they have good sense of hearing? Sometimes it's both.

Note, scoring 2.0 is coming soon and integrity will change with that update, also level 4 blacktails can make diamond very rare tho

Whitetail deer can actually make diamond at level 2. No clue how rare they are but I got one as my 4th or 5th diamond. Sadly it’s the only diamond I wasn’t able to take a picture of because the game bugged out. Edit: typo

Great vid Flinter. Thanks. If a tree doesn't give you cover based on your cover tracker in the lower left, can you still hide behind the trunk of the tree to stay out of sight? What if the animal is close, but on the other side of a large rock or hill. What if the animal isn't looking at you, like a resting bear? I'm wondering if in your experience animals have to have you in line of sight to see you, or if they can always detect you as long as you don't have cover and you are close to the animal.

When you host a multiplayer map, are you not worried about the need zones getting destroyed? Or sense they don't move too far, it isn't that big of a deal? Been curious about this for a while.

Mikekazz Yes. If you host a multiplayer session, you provide your map and your animals to other players. So if a diamond is walking across your map and another player shoots it, it’s gone.

epicpanda cannon once you have the skill it only gives you the 3 standard options, being 75m, 150m, and 300m, if you are using yards instead of meters it would look different

Hey Flinter, how come when I’m on my own map I don’t get anything good but if I’m on someone else’s map or have my map on multiplayer, I get better animals?

It could be that multiplayer maps have more respawns than yours. Meaning they've killed more animals on their map. Also, spawns are random so your map could just have fewer big animals. Just go kill a bunch.

I didn't know about the consecutive. I just recently screwed up my consec after a 30 min futile search for a musk deer I must have hit in the leg with a 300g arrow for a quest in Medved. I then gave up, which I usually never do, and proceeded with the main quest, stumbled upon a diamond reindeer and was heartbroken. Still got the diamond and was confused. It was my first diamond. Now I know why, and am so happy they changed it. I want the incentive to finish what you've started, but ruining your score is a bit much.

Hi, Thank you for the Q&A video. Should make them more. I play CotW for about 6 months, and still learned something new. But, for some reason, my Disturbed vegetation skill doesn't work every time. Approximately once out of ten times. Is this normal, or mine not work properly?

Hmm it shouldn’t be like that. I’d say (it’s tedious so I’m sorry) if you have the money in game to reset I would try to reset all the skill and see if that fixes it

Completely nub question here. What information do u get when u use your binocs to spot an animal. My daughter just killed a 990 white tail and i could have sworn it said it was a level 2. I thought that meant what size it was. Am I wrong???

What score does a diamond have to get for it to be a large rack diamond?2 how do you tell if you have a big rack diamond?

Dylan Blackshire The only way to know for sure is to see the rack or to get a high weight that is like. 975-1000 and it will be a large rack. Its kinda funky and not that noticeable with truracks it was really noticeable before truracks.

I have seen pretty much every animal that is max lvl 5 can be diamond. A guy on the hunter call of the wild group had a few elk that were diamond at lvl 4 and I personally have had them make diamond also.

I would like to know if Diamonds spawn more frequently on multiplayer, because I've played 360+ hours so far (99.5% in Singleplayer) and found just one single diamond in all that time. Or am I just unlucky?

Ninchiru In the first place, Diamonds are rare. But you could be hunting wrong aswell . Make sure to only shoot the big animals you’re seeing. Males which are heavy and have a high level. Don’t shoot females too much. So the chances for a big male diamond to respawn are much higher. And make sure to keep your need zones populated with animals. If you’re on PC we could add each other if you want...

@@cymon5352 I usually only shoot females when I'm in need of some quick money, other than that I search for high level males to shoot. Maybe I'm just too active when it comes to wandering around. I rarely stay at one place. I wander all around the whole map, sometimes not seeing a single animals, no matter which gender, for half an hour, not even tracks. I'm happy with it and don't mind it, and I still get lots of high levels in front of me to shoot, just the diamonds are not so much showing themselves for me. It's not a big drama. I hunt for the hunting, not for high level trophies, but I found it strange to only encounter a single diamond in all that time. And sorry, no adding. I prefer to play alone, or with close friends, no offense :D

I would like a small game hunting tutorial video. I am fine with deer, boars, bears, moose and all those, but coyotes, foxes and all rabbits are a pain for me to get any. Plus since they are worth so little I mostly ignore them, but I feel like that's a lot of XP and money I'm missing on.

No, it uses your animals from your save, so if there was a diamond on your map, and someone shoots it in multiplayer, its gone.

I have a question that came up on the steam forums...Do you ever notice the predator animals so up more often after, you leave a unhavested animal on the ground? Also, do the lions,pumas, wolves, ect chase other prey animals like how the cape buffalos trigger aggressive...thoughts thx..

I don't have Parque dlc but thought the pumas chase deer same with lions on Vurhunga, right have you guys seen that. The hunter should not be the only thing killing out in the wild imo..they need more animations and behaviors for the animals imo like bucks fighting or even mating etc.

Zeroing definitely. With ranger you would have to learn to control bullet drop. Which is a lot harder than using your range finder and then setting to the right range and firing right where you want the bullet to land

22. Caliber pistol or rifle both dlc weapons and free to play is any shotgun that can use birdshot ammo.

Yessir. There are 3 weapon packs. Weapon pack 2 with the mosin is my recommended one to try out first. The crossbow is in one and the 30 06 and the air rifle is in the other one

I have trouble finding wildebeest and I don't want to use multiplayer, where in dzonga are they common, and preferably usually good quality.

From my experience there is generally 2 large herds in the map, the range in location but one tends to be on the south part of the map so check lakes there during their drink time, the other I’ve seen is in the north but I haven’t messed with them as much so not too sure! Hope this helps

Not correct with the hunting pressure being tied to the killing shot, it is always the first damaging shot. The reason they do that is because you could "fudge" the pressure to a different location.

Spine shots aren't really the way to go anymore. You have to hit spinal cord and its very skinny. Best off with double lung on 99 percent of animals

There is no way to get more rares to spawn. When the game respawns an animal there is a tiny chance it will be a rare.

Of course everything you say is taken seriously. But, I find that glitches occur. I have dropped, for example, a pig and found zero quick kill, when it has dropped right where I shot it. So I am still confused, because I put these anomolies down as glitches.

animation promoter Yes, it is a one time buy. But you have the possibility to buy additional content (DLC) like new weapons, new maps, ATV’s... and much more.

animation promoter If you buy the cheaper option, then you’ll get only the base game. If you decide to buy the 2019 Edition, you will get the base game including some of the latest DLC’s like new weapons, new maps and some others. Not sure which DLC’s are included in that version. Edit: But I would recommend you to buy the base game only, and after you can decide which DLC fits you the best and then buy it afterwards. Because some people like this maps more than the other you know...

It increases your noise by 3 units.. so most definitely yes it makes it harder

Two different weapon classes. 7mm is class 3 for black bear, red deer. 338 if class 4 for moose and buffalo. Eventually you want them both. Buy 7m first though.
