This was so good Fatima 🥺 the part about wanting to make your parents proud made me so emotional because i went through the same thing. Having to do what you know is the best thing for you but knowing it would make your parents disappointed is so hard but you’re so brave for still making that decision. Love that for us cause its definitely going to work out in the end and they will for sure be so proud of us.

10:30 going onwards is something I totally relate to . Especially being an immigrant child of African parents is really hard . The pressure is sometimes unbearable and it’s almost like you’re not allowed to take breaks , you’re not allowed to live it up like everyone else . I hope I find balance . I definitely relate to this video, especially the moving out part and only focusing on my current relationship. I totally agree but a word of advice y'all, just know your friends, right, and balance your stuff too. Gurl i relate to this ssoooo much😭 im also west african, my dad is senegalese and my mom is gambien. Ngl the pressure on school can get crazy cause i always feel like i have to do my best to satisfy them n it gets hard especially cause i grew up there and in the US. for face balancing, I have the same problem. I have my left jaw stronger then the right one, it's because I used to eat at one side (left) so my left jaw is more developded. Now I try to eat both side or just right to fix the balance of my jaw, and it works. Try it during 3 months :)
