I’m 20 & I’ve never had sex. It doesn’t mean I’m loser. I haven’t been proposed either. I’d like to be loved by a boy, but it’s not my priority. As a waiting til marriage girly who will probably marry a guy who also waited til marriage, I've thought about the first time being awkward before. I'm mostly scared that we'll just both be so awkward about it and not completely know what to do lmao. Then I think about the fact that if I'm marrying this guy I should be comfortable enough around him to talk about that stuff before hand.

Communication is key!! Even if you don't end up engaging in any particular acts before marriage, you should absolutely talk about what kinds of things you are interested in trying, and what you're looking for in a partner in the bedroom context. The first time will probably be at least a little awkward(I know mine was), but it does get a lot more natural/enjoyable as you learn what you and the other person are into. I know when I first started I was surprised by what I thought I'd like but didn't, as well as all the new things I never considered but REALLY enhance my experience. If you're comfortable with it, it may help to explore some of these things on your own to get an idea of where to start. Best of luck to you, whatever your journey ends up looking like^^

They hurt a lot, I for the longest time couldn't look at old photos, or remember old memories where I had fun with my ex friends, without feeling bitter or having some negative emotion towards those moments But Over time I realized, regardless of what happened, In those moments I evolved from them and I truly did enjoy the time I had with them. It's one of those things that takes time, even if it is years later, a few months, or a few weeks. It's different for everyone because It's your own coping mechanism.
