I love vintage gear its just the way the cu meters look and the solid satisfying turns the dials give me. Im still in between a bunch of amps in a way. Because to me personally its about all the above. Good solid build, connectivity, how it looks, and if that brand has been in the game for a while you can just whole brand match which to me looks best most of the time aesthetically. Awesome video man. Enjoyed it!

One of the reasons i've bought my accuphases is their looks. Then i wouldn't change my Cambridge Audio cxn V2 for the world because i love the screen. So i do look for great and good looking audio. Thanks Lenny for your 2 audio channels. I really enjoy watching! Or it's vintage or new stuff!

This was a great video Lenny and I appreciate you featuring the question, I only mentioned Yamaha because I think you said the Luxman sounded more modern/clinical and people say that bout Yamaha in the vintage realm alot. I do get a strange feeling when asking a question about gear and mentioning looks but its true!!! Yes it has to sound good of course but looks do play apart as as well since all this gear sounds pretty good ( some better than other but were splitting hairs ).. Its a combination but I want it to look good, Atleast to me.. When focusing on vintage I also want it to be as mint as possible physically, Ive been known to sell pieces just to replace with the same unit in better condition.. Keep up the enjoyable fun content, audio nerds truly enjoy it more than just hearing about specs all the time ( specs count but there more to the hobby then that and you guys nail it ).

For me, an A/B comparison reveals huge differences in speakers and medium differences in amps and slight differences in dacs. General rule is bigger sounds better.

It might be interesting if you could set-up a location on your website where we could listen to the A/B comparisons that you do in streaming high-res - a companion site to the videos - it would also drive traffic to your website! I have a Luxman L-509x in my reference system and a Yamaha AS2200 in a secondary system...very different sound signatures.... but I'll let you do the review.

Listening to a iPhone I cannot tell the difference between the equipment unless it was an AM radio compared to a Luxman. Saying that, I wish as hell I lived closer, I’d be there weekly buying something. Thanks for the Vids….! 😎

Trying to differentiate audio quality with a MacBook Air and AirPods through KZfaq is a waste of time for me. Now listening to Apple Music this way isn't too bad and I've had very good results with high quality channels like HiFi Squarepants.

Very hard to tell the difference without some pretty good headphones through my dragon Dac on my iPad…….aaaaaaaand it depends on the quality of your recording. The other day I struggled on the MoFi one.

What is pretty to you might not be to me and that's it. I like big hifi eg vintage jbl monitors and fat amps with meters etc and over sized turntables etc.. but I like small women eg Emma Myers and Jenna Ortega. We all have our own taste. This makes the world interesting. Have always liked vintage and diy hifi. Love going to audio shows and seeing mega buck system. And the nutty professors and of course the reasonable priced gear.

You don't pronounce the word "technical" (which contains the root word technic) as "teckneeecal", so why would you then mispronounce the word Technic. The only reason you would pronounce it differently to the rest of the English speaking world would be if the company itself has stated differenly.
