The main step in saving money is definitely having a large income. If you pay almost the entirety of your earnings in rent, bills and other necessary expenses, it becomes more difficult to make any substantial savings... Of course you can cut anything not essential and save dollars here and there but that is most likely going towards an emergency fund and not actual savings.

Great video and tips about saving money. Not many people understand that a dollar saved is a dollar earned

Albert Einstein is reputed to have said, “Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it; he who doesn't, pays it.”

“Disney is a mini *Minnie* savings account” 😂 okay, so that’s my sense of humour!

I keep my money in a capital one 360 account. It earns way more than my regular bank and I have a capital one checking account so I have super easy access to it if needed.

Apparently you can use many out of state 529 plans - like Ohio’s which apparently is very good and what we have our kids enrolled in.

Roth IRAs are great places to save for retirement also!
@KaylaBuell2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! I have some of my retirement money in a Roth and it’s great to know that when we pull that money out later on in life, we’ll already have paid the taxes!

Your kids are the main reason people watch your videos but you don‘t save money for them and you think they need to work their butt off … 🤷♀️ make it make sense. They are basically working for you because you constantly film them and make money from it.

I don’t think Jackson is up at night editing videos and emailing sponsors for hours … if she wants to raise grateful hardworking kids than she should continue doing what she is which is setting an example by working hard herself . Don’t let comments like ^ get to you .

@@emeryisern Right … just because he doesn‘t edit the videos he shouldn‘t see a penny. 🙄 His life is documented online since his birth and he doesn‘t get a say in it. He has to pose with Water Wipes for Instagram but hey … why should that matter. 🌈🦄 ✨

Not wanting to hand everything to her kids on a golden plate is the point here. She never said she won't be saving for them, she just wants to raise responsible human beeings that can understand the value of money.

Thanks for your concern, Natascha, but believe me, they will have plenty. We actually met with a financial advisor two days ago, and we were talking about how to beat save for their future. Maybe they’ll want to go to college. Maybe they won’t. So we’ll definitely have some money put aside for them. But I still do want to raise them to be grateful and hard working people. That’s not a bad thing regardless of how much money I’m able to save up for them ❤️
