Stand firm in your decision about your baby girl. As long as you and Tommy are in agreement, the rest of us can kick rocks in the kindest way possible. Lol you are your daughter’s #1 protector…don’t let a single soul on this planet tell you being a momma bear in all its might is “crazy”. They’re crazy for not seeing it the same way. Love, from a very long time subscriber!

I think its awesome that you're not sharing Noelle. She's not old enough to consent to making money on the internet. She's a whole person; not just a baby and its important to respect her autonomy.
@anitathompson326
@anitathompson326 9 ай бұрын
I hate when people say that. It’s not really about being old enough to consent to being on the internet. Kids won’t be old enough to consent for years and years. It’s not the worst thing for a person to share their children with their loved ones and friends online. It’s not really about consent. It’s just about whether or not you want to or not. Some people don’t want the risk of predators online and that’s totally fine. But in terms of consent that’s a weird way of looking at it.
@TiaMiaa
@TiaMiaa 9 ай бұрын
@@anitathompson326how is it a weird way of looking at it? Everyone’s entitled to their reasoning for not wanting their children online. Some people don’t want to have an entire digital footprint of their kids before they’re able to decide if they want their entire life shared on the internet. Some could argue it’s selfish to force your kid to be on the internet for the sake of likes.
@klynj526
@klynj526 9 ай бұрын
Same can be said for parents that pierce their babies ears....the baby didn't consent but they still do it because "it's cute". Same can be said for circumcision 🤷‍♀️
@anitathompson326
@anitathompson326 9 ай бұрын
@@TiaMiaaI’m saying it’s a weird way to look at it because children, babies especially can literally not consent to anything. When is the last time you asked a baby if they wanted their diaper changed, wanted a shot at the doctor’s office, wanted to be put in their car seat and driven somewhere? You wouldn’t because they can’t consent. But you do it anyways right? I’m not saying parents should or shouldn’t put their kids online. I actually think they should not. But not because they can’t consent. I mean kids and babies have to go out in the real world and show their faces, and they aren’t consenting to going to school and being out in public but it’s just a part of life. I’m saying it’s totally valid to not want your kids online because they deserve privacy and there are creeps online. I’m just saying the whole reason being because they can’t consent is kinda weird. There’s plenty of valid reasons out there besides that.
@babylink12
@babylink12 9 ай бұрын
@@anitathompson326I totally agree with you the whole consent thing is just cringey …. I have two kids and my hubby and I just don’t want to post anything about them online, if your family you know them and that’s all we really don’t feel the need to post anything about them

It was so nice to see your video! Im glad you’re in a better place and she is doing well. When my daughter was born her nicu nurse said you have to advocate for your child because they can’t; if you don’t who will? And ever since then that’s all I’ve ever needed to feel like I’m doing everything I can to protect her and let her thrive. It’s always nice to hear women being real about post partum and that not everything is or has to be perfect❤

Thank you for being so raw. It’s funny everyone always wants to know “what people didn’t tell you” but I feel like there is so much no one CAN tell you! Thank you for being real about having a fussy baby. My first born was awful. Gosh I love her more than anything, but the mom guilt for being honest that she was hard was overwhelming. I’m a FTM to a 2 year old, and I totally feel you on how hard the first 4 months are. I honestly don’t remember much cause I think my mind blocked it out lol. My daughter didn’t start sleeping through the night until she was 13 months old and I definitely think for me the sleep deprivation is the worst. ( every baby is different of course) I feel mentally and physically it took me after she turned 15 months old to “ feel more myself” no one really highlights these true moments and I’m happy to share a motherhood journey with one of my favorite KZfaqr. I remember wanting 3 kids and now I really contemplate having more and really think about it. We also have zero family in the state we live in and both are working parents. 1) Don’t get discouraged about losing weight after pregnancy. It’s different, a lot of hormones involved on top of stress, sleep deprivation, and so on. It all comes into play. 2) After 6 months it will get easier and easier. Newborn stage was sooo hard for me however it also just turns into different stresses but the more they can communicate and also self soothe it’ll become less overwhelming. Really until they hit preschool kindergarten that’s when you feel like you get part of yourself back. 3) just take care of your mental health! It is so important!

I just love your videos and you're authenticity! Thanks for sharing everything that you do, many influencers certainly do not. I absolutely LOVE the name Noelle and totally understand why you limit what you share of her. The reality is that you can never "undo" what you share online, so keeping it limited is the safest option. Wishing you all the best!

My first born was a nightmare😅😅 and he’s still difficult at age 5. My second was much easier but at 2 years pp, I’ve never lost the baby and added some even though I work out all the time and eat pretty well. The real world is so different from social media. Thanks for being real.

Yes to getting off social media. Quit socials 2 years ago and it's been the best decision. My mental health has greatly improved. It's allowed me to focus on myself and my own journey, and it allows me to be more present in life instead of glued to my phone. Yes, it might be trickier to keep in touch with people and perhaps you are not informed of their hour-by-hour plans each day lollll but that's okay, we get in touch the old fashioned way by calling or texting :)

I love and appreciate your transparency and willingness to share the hard things! I’m not a mom (and don’t plan to be) but I feel like sharing the hard and messy things being vulnerable is so important. One phrase that might be helpful - it’s from Bethany C Meyers - is that you may not love your body every day, but you respect your body every day. And I feel like you have that mindset already, but just wanted to share that!

Loved this video! PP is so hard! My first was colicky and it was legit a nightmare lol. Also, please please don’t get a fat transfer! I have heard soooo many horror stories about them, they are one of the riskiest procedures to get done! I’ve done research on them and they are like a major no go!
