ANOTHER Fun Fact: The sound of Yellow Jacket's blasters are actually the same as the blasters used on the AT-ATs in The Empire Strikes Back, just slightly modified.

YellowJacket is actually terrifying. He’s literally willing to use a gun in a closed room to shoot an ant (even when his own men are inside). He didn’t think twice before threatening and using Scott’s young child to get to him. And not to mention the look of the suit

I saw it as, once he was being tortured by the electric bug trap, it made the chemical brain degradation 100x worse and so his decision making from that point on is pure evil/crazy. Which is why he was willing to hurt a kid after. Like you can see his descent into madness, but the electrifying thing really did a number I think.

Fun Fact: Yellowjacket in this film is a combination of Ant-Man villains Yellowjacket (a mentally unstable alter ego of Pym), Darren Cross (a villainous businessman and enemy of Scott Lang) and Eric O'Grady (an amoral and selfish person with Pym tech who also was the fourth Ant-Man).

When Darren Cross asks Scott "Do you really think you could change the future with a heist?", it was unknown at this point that Scott would actually be the one to pitch the idea of the "Time Heist" which would eventually alter the future in 'Avengers: Endgame'
