Antar - The Transformation is based on a Raga Bhairavi Tarana composed by Sitar Maestro Purbayan Chatterjee and sung by the Indian Classical music sensation Kaushiki Chakraborty.
The ambient Alaap transforms into a bouncy Jod and slowly transforms into a groovy 3/4 composition and eventually into an edgy drum and bass.
On the Drums is the incredible Shikharnaad Qureshi and on the guitars is the very talented Rickraj Nath. The Keyboard sensation, very popular Stephen Devassy has featured as a special Guest artist.

I have Maths Boards exam tomorrow and I was stressing out. My mother just played this video and very surprisingly, it instantly helped me to calm down. So I just had to come here and play this video on loop. No word is enough to describe this masterpiece. Massive respect to Kaushiki ji, Purbayan ji and every single person in the entire team!

This is tooooo brilliant. What an amazing composition. Purbayaan sir's subtle approaches and those nuances with notes are pretty amazing. Kaushiki ji s gayaki is beyond comprehensible. Soothes to the soul directly! Not to forget stephen devassey sir, what amazing notes on the keys! Mind boggling composition. Really.

This is something that will surely revive the lost popularity of classical music. I can bet on it. This is western jam with pure bhairavi tarana. Nothing can match this composition. Laya was on its peak as it progress. Kudos to the creator as well as the musician. The reason I am not appreciating kaushiki di bcoz she is someone who deserve more than an appreciation. If we all appreciate her then also it will be less bcoz i believe she is someone who is been appreciated by saraswati maa herself. She is constantly trying to revive the lost popularity of indian classical music.

Ms. Kaushiki is amazing as always . A collab between her and Devadip Carlos Santana would be very interesting. The rock/fusion part around 7:00 reminds me of ' Thus Spoke Oberon' by the band Lucifers Friend.
