I never met Anthony but seen him on a freeway and I caught a glimpse and slowed down to take a double take . He smiled and waved and I did the same. He sadly passed on my birthday. Every year I think of him on my birthday. R.I.P Tony

Not since Robin Williams' death was I so sad about a celebrity's passing. I valued Anthony Bordain's genuine take on things and would have liked to have had a chance meeting with him in a small town bistro somewhere on the other side of the world. Thanks, Scott!

I agree with you I never get tired of watching his videos. I was a part time animal control officer for a little small town outside of San Antonio and the community was having a community yard sale several years back, and there was a Video about the Manson murders, and I bought it and it was narrated by Scott and I still have it. That’s how I found out who Scott was and I started looking at his website. I was always so fascinated with the same things that Scott is. I was so happy when I found his KZfaq channel. I’m 56 and there was a lot of crazy things happening in Southern California when I was growing up. And I remember my mom being very scared at every noise at night when the Manson killings were going on and we were living in Los Angeles at the time. And when I was in either eighth grade or ninth grade in Huntington Beach California we had a serial killer called the freeway killer his name was William Bonin and he killed a boy that I went to school with and he killed our paper boy and he tried to kill my friend David McVicker but David was the only survivor out of all of the boys William Bonin attacked.

Thank you so much for this. Have always felt so sad about Tony's death. My gut has always said he didn't mean to die. Several years ago, my husband and I were walking around Provincetown on a very cold Spring day. There was a camera crew filming at a restaurant across from where we were eating. Little did we know it was Tony filming his CNN show. I wish we had known it was him that day. My husband has never watched your videos, but I made him watch this. He was fascinated with the Charles Manson stories. I told my husband to go back on your channel and watch more.

idk. alot points to suicide. i mean i dont want to be dismissive but so many things point to it. the guy left his family fired his closest friends hired his love interest who he had been having a notorious rollercoaster of a relationship with. hears thru the TABLOIDS that she is cheating likely. retreats to himself. sends out one last tweet about movie that identically portrays his relationship with someone who cheated on there man with a reporter. the girl was sleeping around. and he loved her and it drove him mad. he kicked away his entire support system before the end. when he found out she was cheating he had noone. the girl who cheated on him had been exposed for raping teen co stars. that relationship was wild. that being said who knows. i wouldnt ever say i know he did either without knowing everything.

I was commenting under another video about Anthony. It's about an upcoming book. Never watched his show. I'm not sure why I clicked on the video. While looking at the clips of Anthony, I could see the sadness in him. I struggle with depression. No matter what was going on around him, I could see that he was detached. Doing enough to appear ok. Everything felt like one big "MEH" or "SIGH." There was something heavy on his heart. No matter where he was or what he was doing. Those photos I saw of him, staring out into the distance, are very telling. It's as if he was searching for something. I know the look well.

One thing's for absolute sure. Nobody, but nobody knows what's going on in another person's mind, no matter how well you think you know them. No doctor, scans, therapists or anything. Just God. t's impossible and people can put on any kind of face, but you don't know what they're thinking and experiencing inside. I'm one of those people who can't hide their feelings easily, whether I'm happy, sad, or angry, but still, no one knows what I'm thinking, while some people are masters at hiding their feelings. All we can do is guess what's going on in another person's brain.

There is a strange glee around him while you were talking about the details of that case (around the subject matter of erotica and self harm) He was smiling and nodding his head. And obviously he had a fascination with that subject and obviously from his word responses ...he seemed into it more than I would have thought. "That's what I'm talking about!" "That's.... He set the bar pretty high.... Can you think of anybody who can top that" Strange and actually.... eerie. I used to wonder if he actually did what he did and not something more... Invasive and spooky... But seeing this .. I am convinced he did what he did himself and that's creepy enough. Oof

Susan Akins was my neighbor's babysitter at one time back in the 60's. My neighbor, Nancy Smith (deceased), just casually said that to me one day when we were sitting in her back yard. Said she was a nice teenager and she used her often! Like what????!

What struck me was that in this entire interview right from beginning to end Anthony was an unflappable cool cucumber. Oddly so. He seemed well versed on the most gruesome of subjects and wanted more while never flinching even once. To me he seemed calculating like a professional poker player not wanting to tip off his hand. He had an inner agenda that he kept to himself, example: his questions about auto erotica etc. He strikes me as every other burnt out restaurant worker passed his prime, his only interest being the next bigger and better high and the clear disappointment in his life that comes with that "it's never enough" attitude that never matching that first high brings. Those of us who have endeavored in his industry have seen a hundred Anthony's. So sad and such a waste of a promising future.

Depression is a real bitch. Something you can't easily explain, or be simply snapped out of. Some folks feel better on med.s, and when they start feeling good, they stop taking them. Even worse, when you are virtually recognized every where you go. Sure, some celebs are barely recognizable in passing, in different clothes, or even the way they look, size and height.. I know, I've spotted tons, because of how I lived and where I have traveled, I always assess people and situations for safety. Many folks look nothing like they do on the small or big screen. But Tony? Guy couldn't hide being tall and lanky, and if you heard that voice? Bingo!
