From a black cat to a golden retriever, a Bridgerton story

A friend of mine categorized all the Bridgerton‘s as dog breeds. And I completely agree with her that Anthony is a German Shepherd. Gregory is the Golden Retriever of the family

Mean and manipulative how? She's not some perfect angel, but there's nothing you can condemn Kate for in s2 that Anthony hasn't done much worse with similar motivations, and they are blissfully happy and good to each other in s3. Anthony and Siena were a trainwreck. He treated her abominably, and she didn't even really LIKE him all that much outside of their little bubble of sex and ignored responsibility.

@@purplecheesecake9102 Kate literally intentionally dropped her bracelet at the wedding just to get her way. She even let her sister marry him knowing how they both felt. And the fact that it was her sister’s ex. You will have to carefully watch the last episode of season 1 to understand Santhony.

@@maddielonge2003 It wasn't intentional. She was fiddling with it like people do when they're nervous and it fell off. Even if she had wanted to stop the wedding, how on earth could Kate have predicted that dropping her bracelet would accomplish that? It was Anthony who behaved like a lunatic and stopped his own wedding cold to pick up a bridesmaid's bracelet. How could Kate have known he would do that or that Edwina would choose THAT moment to not be oblivious and call things off? They both did Edwina extremely dirty by keeping her in the dark and being cowards about their real feelings and she had every right to be furious with them, but neither had malicious intentions or planned any of it and once again you can't condemn Kate without condemning Anthony far more. Anthony was not under any of the pressure or restriction that Kate was and yet he created most of the situation. I don't think that makes him a bad person, just flawed like all the rest of the characters and humans in general, but if you're going to hate one of them it makes no sense for it to be Kate.

@@maddielonge2003 I did, and the vast majority of people who watched the show and also paid attention would agree with my interpretation over yours. That doesn't necessarily make me right, as interpreting fiction 'correctly' is a nebulous concept at best, but you aren't defending your extremely unpopular position very well.
