Yup But the thing that bothers me is that they reversed Colin and Benedict's personality from the books. Love this Benedict, but in his book is when they realize that he's a good painter because of his s/o so I'm waiting to see what they're gonna do in the next season for him. In the books he's more serious and reserved. More so than Anthony.

But im glad to know i dont have to read the books! 🙏🏽

In this case the characters in the book are altogether different so the thoughts are feelings are barely applicable to the TV version. Kate is waayyyy cooler in the series and also struggles with her emotions. Book Kate falls in love much more quickly and the entire drama is created by Anthony who also figures it out pretty quickly. Didn’t help that they hitched up very quickly in the book so stakes were lower. Even lower than the first season.

I dont know what this person is talking about, because the books have just as much angst and yearning, plus it gives more time for their story to breathe overall. It goes into more detail about Anthony's relationship with his father and explains Kate's thing with storms. It has more comedic moments and bantering scenes than the show as well. They're vastly different in how they get together, but i adore both versions
