@@tuneunleashed And no putting Jaden on Kyrie wouldn’t be better. Jaden on Luka is best because of his length and if the offense isn’t slacking he’d be able to make freak plays and negate the PnR a little bit better. Also, Ant doesn’t need to guard Kyrie, if I’m the wolves I’d let him conserve his energy and don’t put him on kyrie until clutch time. I’d rather have Ant on DJJ so he can play passing lanes and run in transition. I like that Ant has a switch where he can play very aggressive at times, and make timely shots, but he doesn’t have the experience to be shifting his energy on Offense and Defense this early in his Playoff Career. Minnesota will ultimately lose because they can’t run the Pick and roll. This is a great team, but until they realize “Hey we’re bigger than everyone, we can attack the paint” they’ll fall short. That cute 3 point play is not for the playoffs. Kobe told James Harden that and it’s still true.

Kyrie is 32 and wasn’t tired? Ant is 22 and complaining about energy, yikes, not a good sign. Dallas shot 24% from three and still closed it out. They have to be extremely confident after this performance. Still hopeful but that was lackluster at best and kind of disappointing playing at home.

Ant-Man’s exhaustion can be attributed to his aggressive offensive playstyle, which involved excessive dribbling and driving into crowded lanes. These actions not only led to turnovers but also required a significant amount of physical exertion, contributing to his fatigue. To address this issue, I think Ant-Man needs to simplify his offensive game. On the defensive end, exerting energy to stop opposing players is required. So he needs to find ways to conserve his energy.

I think this defeat does us more good than a win would. You know why ? Beating the champions nuggets has created a lot of excitement, much more than needed, and we felt like every matchup would be easy after, which is wrong. So losing this first game to the mavs will have the effect of bringing our heads and feets back to earth, specially for the players. Good thing.

Edwards was drained after the game. It wasn't from chasing old Irving, but more from chasing the game itself. Kobe used to do that before he learned that the harder you chase it, the farther it tends to get away from you. Game 2 will have a different winner.

As soon as the Mavs won by 3 points, the game was decided at the end and the Wolves were not good in shooting. That says that the Wolves could have won approximately 125-108 if they hadn't had so many missed shots and still lost by 3 points. I still trust the Wolves, it's just about leaving the hazing of the playoffs and playing more organized.

I think ANT needs to communicate more with his teammate Gobert. The same as Kat makes plays with Gobert - HE NEEDS TO DO THE SAME - with Classic Pick n roll and some high passing. Giving more options like that and attacking the paint - They neeed to move more and def more space awareness is key

Both those guys are young but handle these interviews like seasoned vets. The problem was that Kyrie decided to show why all those talking heads that tried to count him out don't know basketball like he does. There was one play where he was guarding Ant and as soon as Ant stepped back to get in shooting motion Kyrie stepped up and threw his rhythm off forcing him to pass. Kyrie s movement on that play was cat quick and seemed to stun Ant. It's like he was thinking "what the hell was that". Kyrie's approach to and understanding of the game is unmatched. It's like he knows the movements of other players and practices defensive counters like he does offensive ones. His game is so cerebral and I think most don't see that but I do.

If a player shoots 60% in every game of their career (admittedly high) and then he hits 3/5 shots in the first quarter, 4/5 in the second, 2/5 in the third and 3/5 in the 4th, then the journalists will ask a question like: what did you do so differently in the second quarter from the third? Like the player suddenly decided to start dribbling and shooting with the other hand or ate a bucket of donuts off camera.
