AJ is not overlooking DDD, he is simply confident in himself as he should be. AJ should be able to deal with DDD’s power, not necessarily easily since Daniel can punch which is why AJ will work hard on his defense, and counter punching. He will expect Debois to come out to take off his head but once he connects and gets his range the fight will be over most likely early.

Stop it. AJ has been calling Fury out for years. He’s not over looking DDD. Years ago; AJ gave a list of fighters he wanted to fight. He listed Wilder and Fury! DDD looses quickly. Yeah he punches hard, but AJ does something that DDD doesn’t and can’t do. MOVE.

I think what you fail to mention is that Ngannou and AJ showed each other equal respect. Dubois spoke disrespectfully first. AJ always has that energy when his opponents talk to him disrespectfully. He did the same thing to Walliin and Helenias. In fact Ngannou also had AJ's "Dubois energy" towards Fury cause Fury was also talking shit. Ngannou didn't show Fury half the respect he showed AJ. Real recognize real. It's why Usyk and AJ respect each other to this day

Fighters like to fight, boxing is a very dangerous sport and some fight because they have to based on a life choice, others may or may not need to but choose to fight for money, and then there are some really tough mean guys (or girls) who fight for money yes but also because they just love fighting generally to win. The belts are just a mythological smoke screen that’s used to promote fighting….so they’re fighting for a title that supposedly means something. Without getting too philosophical the belts don’t really mean shit, the payday means far more than the belts. Sure there’s all the legacy and mythological best fighter to ever put on the gloves bs. What people go to see fights for is the excitement, and may be to try and win some bucks on ‘whoever you got down to win’. Who’s the best means something in each era of fighting but overall we watch fighting for excitement and entertainment as in a gladiator sport. They all get old and die, when they’re all dead belts don’t really mean a dam thing. AJ is saying yes, aside from the belts we’re here to fight, to get it on for the glory, the money, then the belts. It’s always about who you fight, we missed AJ vs Wilder, will we get AJ vs Fury? Who knows but that’s what fascinates us whether they have all the belts or not, will they get it on……

I don't think that Fury is going to go with the Usyk rematch. Fury doesn't like the idea of being the lesser paid on a card like he would be for that rematch. If the purse doesn't become 50/50 , I think that Fury will hold out to a bigger payout against Joshua at Wembley. Fury will then retire if (when) he loses, but he will make more money than he would with an Usyk rematch.

@@LawrenceOsuekeBoxing You may be right. I heard that he was paid north of 100M for that first fight as opposed to under 40M for Usyk. I'm guessing that the purse values will switch for the rematch. I think that is why Fury has been carrying on about how he really won that first fight. I'm thinking that he is really negotiating with the Saudi Kingdom. I do think that Fury will not fight Usyk for what Fury would call the "B" side of the card.I think that he will kick up a fuss until the purse is 50/50.

Usyk landed 13 more punches than Fury over twelve rounds. He had landed 50 more punches on Anthony Joshua in their fight. Usyk won the undisputed fight because of that 10/8 round when Fury got dropped
