I feel like “get yo *ss out the trunk” is his way of saying “y’all riding my bumper so much you might as well be in the trunk. Get off my *ss, d*mn.” Or even “stop trying to sneakily catch a ride to success, just bring some drinks along and we can be actual friends.” Also, maybe they are following him like a baby duck? 🤷🏾‍♀️ this dude just wants to be treated like a human and I respect him so much for saying that

For the monk line actually RM talking about the incident a year ago when he was praying in temple and had private conversation with the monk but sadly the monk disclosed it to the media without his permission

I have a different interpretation because he's talking about the expectations some ppl have of him. They expect him to live like a (Buddhist) monk, free of worldly aspirations, desires, and weaknesses - or at the very least let it pearl off him like dirty rain water doesn't stick to a lotus leaf. I'm thinking about the unrealistic expectations some fans have of idols (don't smoke, never cuss, always be "on", don't date cuz that messes with the fantasy, etc.). As the leader, RM had to shoulder quite the burden starting at 19. Doing their military service is probably the closest the members will get to experience life as a "normie."

I so recommend whenever you have the time, to make a point or watching ❣️MMM (Mini & Moni Music from bangtantv. RM goes quite deep explaining so many things, his thoughts, intent, what he’s been going through, while creating this album as well as meaning & motivation behind the songs, with Jimin asking all the right questions. It’s not only informative & insightful, but you feel the mutual respect, care, support, understanding & compassion bt both of them! RM? Rap Monster?? Real Me?? Naaahhhh RM stands for Road Man 😂😂 He was really out there in the streets of London filming this MV actin like that 😂😂 Out here acting like a god damn fool 😭😭 As far as the ‘not a fucking monk’ line goes…..(to my understanding) at one point last year he visited a temple (a private visit) and stayed there for a couple of days. Images and private information that was shared with Namjoon and the Monk was leaked and he was very rightly pissed off. It was just a huge slap to his face because what he thought was a private moment turned out not to be and he just wanted some sort of normalcy. People tend to forget at the end of the day, despite the fame that surrounds him, he is a person with thoughts and feeling of his own. He’s just a man trying to survive in this world and his privacy and personal life shouldn’t always be brought to the forefront of everything he does.
