Yeah this is definitely their most divisive release. It's cute but it can't compare really to Sweat which kind of convinces me that the members were pushing for sweat to be the title and since they couldn't they fought for the pre-release. I don't hate it (it's actually stuck in my head these days) but I don't think I'll be listening to it this time next month. I'm really hoping that as they get down the line wakeone will allow them to make even more decisions (for example GW wanted to write his own rap for this one but they didn't select his version)

Doors have always had a lot of symbolism. The door with the three different colored circles could mean PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE . Triptych architecture in history has also had symbolisms for past, present and future or for harmony like life and death, man and woman, Yin and Yang, the moon and the sun with the middle piece being the connection, our enlightenment, a third eye, a doorway to inner happiness. Also the different colors and lighting keep changing and I believe when they finally go through the door the three colors on the door are red, green and blue and I know RM has mentioned RGB before. He's also mentioned multiverses and reading The Midnight Library (many similarities to the MV). Right Place, Wrong Person. It's conceptional. The place isn't wrong but he (we) might feel wrong. The conceptual understanding is that we need to find ourselves, our own happiness to feel right wherever we are. Lee Sung Jin (the MV director) said he and RM shared a lot of stories and came upon a story about a man that was stuck in a house with his PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE.

Totally agree with you! It's a cute summer song, but it doesn't have that title-track power. Love ZB1! This was just not my fav from them, I guess.

I don't get why people think Suhyeok ever had a thing for On-jo. He was being friendly with her because he didn't wanna hurt her feelings and because he's just an overall friendly guy but he was crushing on Namra long before the outbreak started. I think they made that pretty clear. Also he liked to tease Cheongsan because he knew he was into On-jo so he was was just playing around, trying to get Cheongsan to admit he likes On-jo.

how i interpret the basic meaning of the mv is, all these "places" are societal norms that people are meant to experience in their lifetime but he feels like the wrong person in these "right places." (Having drinks with your friends at a party, Married with a kid, a boyfriend, still a kid to his parents etc.) He wants to escape these norms because he doesn't fit in but he's scared to let go of the familiarity of these norms so he cannot leave (he quite literally cant open the door which is his escape). This is until he sees the women who is like him trying to escape these norms as well. He feels like hes not alone in this feeling. In this moment he faces himself and he is ready to let go of the familiarity. In all these places/norms, he's now picturing himself as the right person and what that could be like but he's reminded that he needs to go by the women, he understands that its time to let go as well and he nods. They walk out of the door that's finally open and out of these norms designed by society. We see that its endless, so in reality, theres no escape from the maze of life but he is wandering, now with someone else who is also like him to find their "right place".
