It's okay because it is less than 97th percentile. We label macrocephaly when head circumference greater than the 97th percentile.

Dear, 38 CM HC at 3 months is 15th percentile, so it's normal, don't worry. Microcephaly is defined as a head circumference less than the 3rd percentile or more than 2 standard deviations (SDs) below the average HC

Serial measurement of HC should be done Not the single reading. It's near normal. Neurodevelopmental assessment should also be done
