Yaa!!!! I have a Walmart close to where I live!! I'm off to see the yarn!!!! I'm off to see the yarn!!! The wonderful anti pilling yarrrrrn!! Ok so I'm just off its partially the new meds and yes it's partially just me but shhhh don't tell anyone!!!! I'm 57 and I'm gonna goof off as much as possible. I've found that Turkish yarn is very soft and squishy. It doesn't matter what brand.

I love the Walmart anti pilling yarn. The price is great. I think it's not wound as tight which makes it thicker. As a crocheter I love watching you knit. You have given me inspiration to try with your technique. I've tried knitting the "traditional" way and it just doesn't feel comfortable because I only crochet. This gives me hope to research this way of knitting. I never knew it was a thing. Thank you.

Loving these reviews! Keep an eye out for the Mainstay *Sparkle* Acrylic Yarn…it is gorgeous!! My Walmart had 5 colors, a teal, rose, silver, lavender and taupe and they’re stamped OEKO-TEX approved and made in Turkey. I’m impressed!

Hi Jennifer when I want to do a Centre pull I allways take the label of it gives you more room to put your hand in then when you have done put label back on hope that helps love you take care xxxxxxx

My Walmart yarn department has went down hill since they remolded, about half the amount and very little of the store brand. I love Premier yarns.

I haven't had a chance to try this since I read it. I was told look at the label. If it reads from from end to end, the center pull is at the starting end of the words. If the words run in a circle around the yarn, the center pull is at the end closest to the top of the letters.

When I feel a huge twisted yarn ball like that coming I stick it back in take off the label and use it from the outside. I do not have the patience to fight with yarn barf that is that twisted.

I do like the #4 weight Mainstay yarn. The regular acrylic is better than Red Heart, though very few colors. The cotton yarn is really soft also. I just nade a ton of washcloths for Rose at Rose Likes Crochet and that cotton is on point. There was only 2 colors at my local Walmart, pink or blue/teal. I thinknthere is supposed to be a brown or tan and also a white but I never see those at my store. I have seen the Antipilling acrylic but have not used it yet

I love the review. Knitting is as much fun as crocheting. I have gone back to knitting more than usual especially if I have time. But crochet is in the lead for speed if I'm looking to make something quick. I do knit like my mom Portuquese style so it is different than other people. So knitting styles vary pick your favorite.

I checked on WM website and the mainstay anti-pilling was sold out in almost all colors. Sad but I too don't by yarn at WM very often. I did order the Premier Bloom Chunky Big it will be here later in Oct.

I have to be honest with you Cinnamon, After the dog chewed your expensive things, and you said what you did in the video, I rarely watched you afterwards. I am happy I stayed subscribed to you. Your new review format suits so many viewers now. Have you tried the Big Twist: Living at JoAnn’s? It is 100% Anti-pilling Acrylic. Hi Jennifer, back in the day when I learned to knit which was before crocheting. the knit stitch went in front of the needle and purl was from the right behind the needle . You way different than the way I was taught. I heard there was a new way of knitting so maybe thats what your doing. I just might have to dig out my needles. Yes I bought new ones recently. 😉

I saw the MS art Walmart shortly after they put it out and I think I bought most of it! I realize there are only 6 colors, but they are kinda "staple" colors. I was HOPING to see them restock them, but they haven't yet. I hope that they do well so they MAY come out with more colors. Wouldn't that be FAB!?!?!

I made a sizable purchase from Premiers Yarn not too long ago and have been completely dissappointed. Their prices are not "cheap" and my shipping costs were almost $65.00 Shipping was actually the same as the yarn itself. But I heard all the hipe and wanted to try it. I ordered 5 different blues to make a blanket. The colors are not as depicted on their website, I have had one skein of yarn that had a big blob of twisted yarn in it (separate from the other yarn) just ot weight out correct. and each of the yarns (based on color) are different a thicknesses, even though it is all the Ever Soft..,. It untwist constantly. I have been crocheting for 50 years and I have never experienced this before. The only thing I can give it is I love the sheen. Even us old dogs can learn.

Thank you so much for this video. I have been using premiers anti pilling for my nieces and nephews blankets. I will be switching to the mainstay for the rest of the blankets I have to make. I bought some of the mainstay from China and I really don't like it. As a matter of fact I donated all that I had. I haven't bought any in years. Until next time.

I was thinking about your comment about knitters comments about your knitting… I was a crocheter before I learned to knit too. And I also knitted like you. In the back. Then I wanted to knit a sweater and I finished it and my stitches were all twisted from knitting in the back loop. I had an amazing knitting teacher. And she showed me the difference to straighten out my knit stitch. Not that knitters are being snotty , well they can be but there are knit stitch patterns that call for knitting in the back loop then what do u do? Just trying to help. Knitting is hard and you rock

I know how to knit it the front loop. I chose not too. And helpful comments are cool. But telling someone watching them knit makes you sick to your stomach. Not cool. And that's what I have been dealing with.

@@CinnamonStitches people suck, I’m so sorry, all your trying to do is share your love of yarn and the yarn craft. You do it amazingly. I love just listening to your stories. I may not be making the tutorial you are putting on but I’ll knit or crochet along to your stories. My first knitting project. I threw across the room and cried and didnt pick knitting back up for years until (I was a science teacher before I retired) I was sitting with my kids in home room and one of my freshman was knitting and I figured it that kid could knit so could I. And I started making scarves. I made a million till I got brave enough to take a knitting class. And I’ve been knitting ever since. So yeah knitting it hard and I have found knitters to be a bit snobby in general. Love ya girl, keep being awesome

I am loving these comparison reviews you are doing! I have those really short ChiaoGoo tips. Do you like yours? I found it difficult to hold on to the shortie tips. I do love my ChiaoGoo circular needle sets. My sweet husband has gifted me all the metal sets.

Thank you for doing both knit and crochet swatches. Do you prefer knitting to crochet, or vice versa? I started with knit and did only that but then started crochet and now I find it hard going back to knit because crochet is just so much simpler, to me.

Is there a recommendation as to which side to get start your center pull? Maybe just me but I find less barf if I start from the opposite side of the end tucked in with the outside yarn. I hate huge barfs, small ones are ok that use up fast. Isn't most things made in China you could say, inferior?

Yes most times if you center pull opposite from the outer wrap, where it's tucked in, you will find center pull
