My surgeon says I need to do this-but online research says it’s not necessary so who to believe? I am not high risk. I don’t know about my dentist-what his beliefs are

When I’m doubt I would follow the advice of your surgeon. They may have a specific reasoning outside of general recommendations. Thanks

You should follow the advice of your personal doctor and dentist, but this video discusses why taking antibiotics for the rest of your life before dental procedures may not be necessary.
