Anticoagulants, commonly known as blood thinners, are chemical substances that prevent or reduce the coagulation of blood, prolonging the clotting time. Some of them occur naturally in blood-eating animals such as leeches and mosquitoes, where they help keep the bite area unclotted long enough for the animal to obtain some blood. As a class of medications, anticoagulants are used in therapy for thrombotic disorders. Oral anticoagulants (OACs) are taken by many people in pill or tablet form, and various intravenous anticoagulant dosage forms are used in hospitals. Some anticoagulants are used in medical equipment, such as sample tubes, blood transfusion bags, and dialysis equipment. They can also be used as rodenticides.
Some of the more well-known ones are heparin and fondaparinux.

(3) Edoxaban (Savaysa)
(4) Fondaparinux (Arixtra)
(5) Heparin (Fragmin, Innohep, and Lovenox)
(6) Rivaroxaban (Xarelto)
(7) Warfarin (Coumadin, Jantoven)

Sir I had a surgery long time ago and I had bleeding issues, so I went to doctor and he gave me tranxemetic acid tablet to stop the bleeding, I took it for couple week without doctor supervision, from back then I am still experiencing little dizzynes, Sir do you think if I take anticougulant drugs like warfarin for several weeks, will it help??

Confusion in fibrinolytic anti coagulant and anti peletel

Fibrinolytics = Fibrin +Lytics means they will break down fibrin. Coagulant = thise will allow blood to clot. Antiplatelet = those which not allow the formation of clot
