Yeah have been in a few antique shops like that, some you can't really walk in because the space is limited. However they are usually the kind of shops you get awesome deals in and find elusive pieces. It's fun to rummage in places like that. Can't wait to see what you bought.

This shop could be very nice with a new roof and a good cleaning plus some staging of the furniture pieces. Some people are more likely to buy if you show them how it could look in their homes.

The Mors automobile factory was an early French car manufacturer. It was one of the first to take part in automobile racing, beginning in 1897. That gadget you showed is a polisher maybe for floors.

That antique shop was FULL of Treasures! Such a shame that so many of them are in peril due to the damaged roof. Hope you take us there again, Ryan. Hope you bought the copper pot! Best wishes, Patricia P.S. Thanks to Billy for the respectful way he treated the stole (pronounced "stola") vestment. It is quited small though. Maybe for an altar boy!?

I am betting that you got the copper pot. That was beautiful. The antique store looks like a lot of fun, but you’re absolutely right Ryan. Not only does it need restoration in the worst way and in a hurry, but it needs a revamp inside. They would probably sell more. Too bad. Their prices must be good though, yes? Can’t wait till tomorrow to see what you got. Sending love from California💜🤟🏻😎🇺🇸

Hi Ryan. Will you have enough room in your office for a comfy leather chair and a neat trunk to hold a napping pillow and blanket? I like the ideal of modern office furniture mixed with old things. Could you squeeze in a shelf unit with business on the bottom and the top two shelfs for display such as hats and other interesting bits? Add an antique mirror with some modern art or posters to contrast!

Regarding the black wooden trunk: It is most likely a dowry trunk (Aussteuertruhe in German). We have several such trunks in the family and the one from my great grandaunt has Asian motives like the one shown. They are usually very robust for transport and often have wooden separators for multiple layers in them.
