Can I beat a Pokemon Hardcore Nuzlocke challenge in Infinite Fusion using only Gift Pokemon??
Nuzlocke rules:
Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
Always Set mode
No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
No overleveling the next gym leader

I love that all the best fusions for Charizard (Nidoking and Aerodactyl) are just beasts from Monster Hunter (Rathalos and Tigrex, respectively).

Would’ve been great to have fused Wooper with a Fire type for a Fire-Ground pokemon with the Water-Absorb ability. It would only weak to ground attacks but could keep some water type moves to counter that

This idea is way better than mono type challenges cuz the roaster is much more limited. Standard nuzlockes and mono type challenges for infinite fusion are hardly a challenge because there's so many broken combinations it's hard to struggle past certain points. While arbitrary, this is way more interesting because you struggle, you constantly changed your strategy and it was spectacular to watch! I hope we get to see more interesting runs like these, I love Infinite Fusion but I have trouble finding runs as entertaining as this one.

Fun fact Chardactyl's sprite is a reference to Tigrex (or Molten Tigrex) from the Monster Hunter series. What might interest you is that there is a Pokémon-esque game from that series called Monster Hunter Stories (and Stories 2 which is much better).

Try a infinite fusion, but with no fused pokemon. Every pokemon you catch, needs to be split, and a wheel decides which of the 2 you keep

I think acrobatics does more damage if you aren’t holding an item, so the flying gem being held counteracts the damage drop from holding an item

In main series or rom hack mechanics using up the flying gem qualifies as having no item for acrobatics. It's just not implemented wrong in IF as it's an RPG maker based game

So Is there a reason for not switching in togatic Against a ground type attack and outrage. The flying ferry type immune to ground and dragon type attacks.
