Both Appletun AND Dipplin have the same Special Defense. Let's also add you had access to the EVIOLITE which would have been within the level cap at the time and your Defense would have been increased. Dragon resists Fire too! And wouldn't you know it, APPLETUN CAN LEARN RAIN DANCE and BULLDOZE. The fact you went with Leafeon BEFORE Hoppip is loony, and Scovillain is tailor-made for Brassius. The only one I can understand is Bombirdier. Without Ferroseed, and its resistance to Steel, only Tera finds can stand against that damn bird.
